Dynamic menu of original Southern Italian cuisine that dominates this welcome addition to Hell’s Kitchen. This addition is made even more welcome with the breathtaking beautiful transformation of a once historic space into a hip, fun, stop for dinner that any gourmand will savor.

Formerly, known as Film Center Cafe, Bocca Di Bacco boasts Italian cuisine from Puglia, Sicily, and Sardegna with the endless selection of wines from small vineyards in Italy. Exemplifying our policy of being “Farm to Table” operated, we use the healthiest ingredients from locally grown vendors. Located in the heart of the Theater District, this new modernized restaurant features innovative new recipes and the use of the Enomatic Wine Systems.

Had the Prix Fixe menu for Christmas Dinner - 3 courses for $50 US. Great food, attentive service and they were very accommodating in changing our reservation to a later time. Have been here for other celebratory occasions and it never disappoints. Fabulous background crooner music from the '50's (Sinatra, Martin, etc.)

Calamari outstanding. Caesar salad drenched in Caesar. Lasagna salty & lukewarm. Service started OK, not very personable - then ignored us after dessert & tended to bigger parties until we flagged him for check. With party of 4 & you’re getting pounded for $200-250 dinners, I wouldn’t go back here.

There is no point in making a reservation because they do not honor them. They make too many reservations for the number of tables they have. Their excuse for being so rude and uncaring was that people were not leaving fast enough. After waiting 45 minutes they put us at a table next to the cash register and the front door that they claimed was the only table. The food was okay, but nothing outstanding. Based on where the table was, the waitress took our order and did not see her again until she brought the check. The door opened constantly and it was 25 degrees out so we had to eat bundled up. It was uncomfortable and annoying. We flew into New York for Christmas and to see a show on Broadway. We relied on Open Table to choose a good restaurant in the theater district. It was extremely disappointing. I would never go back to this restaurant ever.

Home fries were tasty but cold. Spinach omelette was not great -- the spinach was so long it was difficult to cut and eat -- chopping it before putting it into the omelette would be better. The pasta dish barely had any sausage in it. The eggs benedict were good -- but again, cold home fries. The chocolate lava cake was delicious. The bathrooms are always clean.

I was confused by making a reservation and at 530 the wait was still 20 mins to get a table. I appreciate the 90 minute timeline but we had already seen a show and weren’t in a rush to order, especially when the food came out 5 minutes after ordering. We did take the full 90 minutes and before we could get up our table was being moved to make another table. Unacceptable. We won’t be back.

The food was good, but Service was slow. I had to go to the bar for drinks ordered at the table. Only had one bartender, who was totally overwhelmed. Aviod this location, but definitely go to the location in Chelsea.
