This waterfront locale is historically known as the launching site of our country's first submarine, the H.L. Hunley. Poised at the breach between the Intracoastal Waterway and the Atlantic, you can enjoy a meal amongst the spectacular sunset views and balmy ocean breezes of the Isle of Palms. Come early and have a cocktail at the Rooftop Bar while enjoying amazing views before dining.

    We had a wonderful dinner on Christmas Eve at The Boathouse. Valet was friendly and efficient. The hostess was kind, and our table was ready when we arrived for our reservation. The food was excellent (as always) and well paced. Even on such a busy evening we never felt rushed and service was wonderful. Thank you so much!!

    Fantastic food and great service. Went here for Christmas Eve and it was so nice to have a casual environment with amazing food. Server was attentive and the experience was amazing.

    A decent place with a small menu. Not a tremendous selection and definitely not enough fresh fish selection. Fried Calamari isn't coastal SC food, nor crab cakes. $30 for fried flounder is pretty pricey.

    Thank you for the feedback. We usually off 3-4 different selections of rotating fresh fish and most are local! Our Fried Flounder entree is 8 ounces of flounder and a choice of side for $26. Hopefully there will be something in season to your liking on your next visit. Happy Holidays!

    This is a busy, vibrant restaurant. It is not “ haute cuisine” but solidly good. The menu is varied but heavily fish and seafood. We had great service and the one food issue we had was addressed quickly. One of the manages came to our table and we had a great conversation with him about the food and other things. We love going there.
