I have implicit bias … repeat customers … this is one of the best restaurants in the known galaxy. Came here for our 33rd anniversary, and experienced next-level food and service. Thanks all.

No balance on the seasoning of several dishes, clams were overly salty, food value was not very high, best dishes were things like potato chips or french fries, the famous doughnut was dry and not very appetizing service was attentive , although maybe overly so, not letting my date and I have some breathing room to talk. Honestly would not want to go back.

We love the Boat Bar! Everything we had was excellent: smoked fish dip, salad, smoked scallops and Manila clams with grilled brioche bread. So yummy! The service was awesome…so friendly and knowledgeable! We’ll be back soon!

Excellent food, excellent service. Had amazing food from both Boat Bar and Bateau from next door. 18 oysters, mushroom pate, clams, two 4oz steaks and mashed potatoes, 2 drinks, 2 glasses of wine. Again, food was excellent, but we expected the tab to be about 225-275. Tab came to 412 before tip. Tab included service charge that was not a tip. Really disappointing that it was so expensive. Unfortunately we won’t be back.

We came to Boat Bar for our daughter’s birthday, as she wanted a “surf and turf” celebration. The small plates at Boat Bar paired with a gorgeous filet from Bateau next door made for a really special and memorable meal! Her favorite dishes were the scallops with ikura and potato chips, plus the nduja Manila clams. The cherry on top was a custom mocktail the bartender created for her. Many thanks for making our birthday girl feel like a princess!

The service was super bland. I felt like the server really didn’t want to be there and brought absolutely nothing to the dining experience. It’s the 3rd time I’ve had steak from bateau or boat bar and it will be the last. 3/3 on being underwhelmed with my steak when the rest of the meal is wonderful. I can think of 3 other places I’d rather had steak from in Seattle.

Let me start by saying our experience at Boat Bar wonderful. My wife and I were greeted and congratulated multiple times for celebrating our anniversary, and a card was left at our table that we took home as a keepsake. That little touch meant a lot. The food was outstanding! We tried a variety of items. We started with a dozen oysters and worked our way through grilled sardines, smoked scallops, steak tartare, french onion soup, gem lettuces, and manilla clams. For drinks my wife enjoyed some champaign and white wine, while I tried the one of the specialty paloma cocktails, a beef fat old fashioned, and a Seapine pilsner. The service was excellent, everyone was so kind, helpful and happy to make small talk as they told us about the menu. The restaurant is also an amazing space. It's cozy and classic just like the french bistros we visited in France earlier this year, but with all the added charm of the PNW. As this was a surprise experience for my wife on our anniversary I'm happy to report she described it as one of the Top 5 meals she'd ever had. We'll certainly be back in the future!
