   It was our first time dining at this location. The food was just okay. We mostly had dim sum. It wasn't bad but nothing out of this world special. The service was not great. We had to ask several times for chopsticks, got wrong food, didn't get some of the food we did order. Had to flag down server for refills- and restaurant was not full or overly busy.

   Ratings would have been higher but it is clear they are going through start up phases of their new format. Generally I was impressed at the progress. Food was really good. There was a noticable change in the cocktails served. Bo Lings seemed to never figure out how to serve a cocktail. They usually seemed to be watered down and they always seemed confused on how to serve them. Not the case any more. A stellar bar and the same with the service.

   Food was very good, service was excellent. Noise level was annoying. Music in the restaurant was too loud. Hard to have conversation and hear waiter.

   Great atmosphere. All the staff were friendly and attentive. Goes without saying the food was awesome. Could not have been better. Will be back for sure.

   We've been to Kansas City over 20 times. People rave about this place. Now that I've been, I have no idea why. I made a reservation for Christmas Eve. We showed up about 10 minutes early. The host said they would "check on our table" then proceeded to seat 3 other parties ahead of us over the next 20 minutes. When we asked for an update, it was clear that they had forgotten about us even though we were standing right next to the host stand. The host was uncommunicative and rude. The server we had was great, even though he was clearly VERY new as he delivered us the setup plate for lettuce wraps without the actual filling. When we asked where the filling was he became very confused and said he needed to ask the chef what else comes with the lettuce wrap plate. The food was very disappointing. Nothing to write home about: BIG but bland crab puffs, slimy Dan Dan noodles, and very mediocre lettuce wraps. The prices were reasonable but I really expected more from such a KC staple. Maybe it was an off day but I've worked in the restaurant industry for 20 years and Christmas Eve is a day to be on your top game. We did not have a good experience and will not be returning.

    We had a wonderful Christmas Eve meal at Bo Ling’s on the Plaza. The hostess staff were friendly and accommodating, the server was excellent and the food was so good we almost didn’t have any leftovers to bring home. Thank you all! We will be back.
