Blue Sakana is an Izakaya style restaurant with share plates where friends can go to have a drink and unwind after a long day. The food was very fresh, well prepared and very presentable. The service was excellent with very frequent visits from waitstaff. The indoors was a bit noisy as it was full. Overall, a great place to have Japanese food, especially sushi! Highly recommended.

I ordered Hokki but there’s no uni as specifically included in the menu. The server didn’t even bother to offer an explanation, not until I asked her why, that the chef replaced uni with ikura. What a terrible experience to say the least!

Lunch was lovely. Sushi was fresh and tasty and the sake flavorful. The salmon skewers were excellent. Service was prompt and attentive. We will happily return.

A pleasant and thoroughly enjoyable experience was had by our party of four. The food was expertly prepared and the presentation was first rate. We especially enjoyed the Tiradito of Albacore, the Spicy Hamachi and the Danville and Salmonholic rolls! The Mango Cheesecake with Green Tea ice cream was a great finish. Our waiter Nick was superb and helped ensure everything went smoothly. We'll definitely return for an encore!

The food was excellent with all the things that we ate. The server was very attentive and friendly. The ambiance also was great as we watched the mini waterfalls across our table. Except of an annoying bee that kept coming to check our food, everything else was perfect.

The food came quick. Our server answered our questions, although incorrectly. He acted like he knew about GF options and ingredients but was incorrect on several counts. He didn't check with the chef to ask if an item was GF or not but instead pretended to know. The outdoor location was lovely and we all had a nice, unrushed lunch. The food was ok. The Miso soup was bland tasting with a strong odor. Friends enjoyed their combo platters and skewers. The sushi rolls were just ok.

We had a great experience at Blue Sakana. Fish was fresh and dishes were creative. We brought our 3 kids and the wait staff was super patient and accommodating. This place is a gem.
