   My wife and I were somewhat disappointed about our first visit to Blue Fire. However, we are likely to try it again because our disappointment was based more on the service than on the food/ cocktails. We both enjoyed our cocktail—my Old Fashioned and my wife’s Apricot Sour. The food menu is very eclectic, ranging from hamburgers and pizza to sushi. My Beef Stroganoff featured a mountain of mashed potatoes and several large pickle slices, and my wife enjoyed her generous portion of Ribs.

My recent visit to this charming Italian restaurant brought back wonderful memories of my time dining in a quaint neighborhood spot in Northern Italy. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was warm and inviting, setting the perfect stage for a delightful meal. The service was impeccable—attentive without being intrusive, and our server was happy to offer recommendations from the extensive menu. We started with the calamari, which was perfectly crispy and served with a zesty marinara that had just the right kick. The salad was fresh and vibrant, a delightful prelude to our main courses. For our entrees, we selected two dishes that showcased the restaurant's commitment to quality ingredients and authentic flavors. Each bite transported me back to Italy, rich in taste and beautifully presented. Best of all, the price point was more than reasonable. For all of this—appetizers, salad, and two hearty entrees—we spent just $75. It’s a steal for such high-quality fare! Another highlight was the heated patio, which adds a unique charm to the dining experience. And if you're into it, they even offer hookah, making it a great spot for post-dinner relaxation. Overall, The Blue Fire is truly a neighborhood gem. Whether you're a local or just passing through, I highly recommend stopping by.    The ambiance inside Blue Fire was very pleasant. Our server Volodymyr was very attentive and personable. The bread was hot and soft! The food was excellent! I had the vegetarian dish and had the green jasmine tea. The outdoor patio looked very inviting, the fireplaces seem like they would keep you warm and cozy on a cold day or night. I would recommend this restaurant! I will definitely return.

   The staff were very attentive. The shrimp Caesar salad and the lamb chops were delicious! We really enjoyed it and will be back.

    The food is good. The service was slow. . Absolutely definitely order the Honey Cake for dessert. It is fabulous. I would go just for that. If you sit outside, be prepared for street noise from North Avenue.
