The sushi was good, but not excellent. The restaurant is very tiny with mostly high top tables that aren’t super comfortable. All of this would be okay except that it was very pricey. So, when you’re spending several hundred dollars on a meal, you really want to feel like it was worth it. We, unfortunately, didn’t feel that way. I’m sure running a high quality sushi restaurant in an economy like this isn’t easy. Things are expensive, so I get it. I just think we have other sushi restaurants we would prefer for this price point with better food and a better atmosphere.

Excellent sushi! Even considering it was in the Rockies, a surprisingly seasonal and diverse selection served with imagination. Fois gras sushi was fantastic. Ambience is pretty basic - if more than 6 or 8 people are there it’s crowded. And, if there’s two parties or more at the long tables, it’s uncomfortably cramped. For the price, there should be better seating.

Order omakase for 2 and just a bunch of rolls. 4 people and the bill was almost $700. Same price as Michelin star omakase. Not worth that.

Absurdly expensive [fully understanding sushi is (almost) always expensive] for very slender pieces of mostly good tasting fish.

We were over charged for a roll and didn’t catch it till we were home. The whole experience was not worth what they charge for sushi. Definitely a hard pass in the future.
