   Food was terrible. Much of it was inedible and not eaten. Coffee was good. Service a little slow but nit terrible.

   Super disappointed with our experience. Although our waitress was very sweet and polite, our food and appetizers came out at the same time. I requested To send it back while we are eating our appetizers. 3 minutes later another person showed up with our dinner. Then the manager came over to let me know they were bringing out the food so it didn’t get dry under the heaters. So it was either let it get cold on our table or dried out under heaters. No option to make fresh meals. We were also there for a birthday. So we ordered a slice of cake with a candle and ice cream for dessert. Although the ice cream was very good, it was mostly melted when it came out. Cake never showed. Lastly the waitress commented that I didnt Let her know it was my son’s birthday although I put it on my reservation request and told her as soon as we sat down. Speaking of the reservation I requested a booth and of course that was not an option either. After we paid the waitress asked us to wait a minute and she showed up with a slice of cheesecake and a candle which was sweet. Will never go back and would absolutely avoid as it was very expensive.

   We sat in the bar to take advantage of the happy hour specials. You can also order off the main menu which we did. The crab and corn chowder was amazing! We also enjoyed the charcuterie board from the happy hour menu. My friend and I both had salads and they were fresh and delicious.

   My experience at Blackwall Hitch was amazing. My food was great, my sever Leo was tremendous and the environment was warming. My meal was the Trident Broiler. The crab cake was delicious, salmon was good, and shrimp were a plus but that sweet potato mash and broccolini bomb! I will definitely be returning. Keep up the great service.

   Loved the variety on the menu, particularly the seafood options. Enjoyed the calamary appetizer. My wife ordered the Seaside Alfredo and I the Blackwall Broiler. The portions were substantial and the Shrimp in each entree were excellent. We paired it all with a nicely chilled bottle of Austian white wine that matched the food perfectly. Our server, Cara, was friendly, helpful, and attentive. It was a most enjoyable dining experience.

   Happy Hour Friday. Dining room table for four. Quick service. Nice calm/civilized atmosphere. Alcohol drinks to table a hint slow, but it is happy hour, and I understand that (bar was jammin’). Charming and attentive server. Shrimp and grits were awesome. Steak frites were good. Food prices a little high - but this is the inner harbor and should be expected. Will definitely return.

   Good location with plenty of parking garages near by. Great atmosphere and prompt service received with good food and portions adequate for pricing.

    Somewhat disappointed in this experience in comparison to the location that used to be in Chantilly VA. The restaurant was only moderately busy at best. Service was slow and portions were not what they should be. I ordered the NY Strip Med Rare +. It came out medium well - almost to fully well. That's a big difference. They fired another one but it still took 15 minutes for the replacement to arrive all the while my dining companions were eating their meals. We got the tuna tartare which was delicious but it only came with 5 wonton chips to eat it with, and there was enough of the tuna for probably 3 times that many chips. We asked for more chips but it took almost 20 minutes for those to come out (and only after we asked about them) and then they charged for them. How about you just put enough on the plate to begin with and charge appropriately from the start ? So while I was still eating my meal, the server came along and asked about dessert... talk about feeling rushed. And then the check comes... not one iota of adjustment or apology for any of their mistakes. I'd be hard-pressed to go back.
