Might have been an off night, but it took over 2 hours to get our food on 12/20/24. Food was great when we finally got it & they gave us a round of drinks for our wait!

For a steak house, they did a very poor job cooking steaks. We've dined all over the countryand we found ourselves extremely disappointed. The steaks were all a midquality cut, not aged at all, including the prime rib. We ordered a rare and med rare prime, both came out rare. We ordered a med rare ribeye that came out medium. All were very grisley. They also weren't very flavorful. Minimal seasoning and crusting on the prime, and the rib eye was slightly bitter, as if they used a very low quality animal. The carpaccio was somewhat flavorless, unless you count the overwhelming taste of the powdered parmesean they dusted it with. The mushroom and smashed potato side dishes were wonderful, as well as the fruit crisp. Overall, if you want to be impressed with your food, I would eat elsewhere. If you're okay with paying premium for getting grocery store quality, here is ok.

Server was very pleasant. Food was good. Two had prime rib and really liked it. My ribs were tasty but pretty fatty. A steak was a little too gristly. Rice and cornbread were dry. Ambiance was very nice overall.

The food was very good and our waiter was good. However the hour wait to finally get our main course seems to be a problem in the kitchen management.

Prime Rib was excellent! Place was nearly empty around 5pm that should have been our first red flag. Service was below average, refilled a Diet Pepsi once had to ask for ketchup multiple times and different staff. And the Prime Rib did not come with anything, had to order a side for anything no veggies or potatoes. For the price even if they raised the price I would expect my plate to include more than one just a cut a prime rib. Prime Rib was amazing. Only one tv near the bar.

We visited Bend for our anniversary and wanted a good steakhouse to go to. Blacksteer came highly recommended. It started amazing with Megan who greeted us at the door and was incredibly friendly. We were early for our reservation so we went the bar where we had Joe as our bartender. He made great drinks and was fun to talk to! Then we sat at our table and Brandon was our server. Fabulous guy! He treated us like gold!! Aaron the head chef has great food coming out of the kitchen. 10/10 on all fronts. Cannot wait to go back and visit this place.

We were 4 having dinner a month ago. The place wasn't crowded on a Friday evening at 6-7pm. Our food was not up to par at all. We had Signature Butter Steak, Hawaiian Marinated Ribeye, Grilled Boneless Ribeye and chicken. None of it was good. The ribeyes were thin and over cooked. At $60 a steak, we had much higher expectations. The chicken was very dry. The butter steak was tiny, thin and over cooked. Sides had to be ordered. Quantities were good, but the sides were not good. We had fries, a Cesar salad, Brussel sprouts and mashed potatoes. Did not even want to try dessert. Our wine and cocktail were average. We were very disappointed.

Excellent steak and rigatoni last night! All the sides and appetizers were amazing. It was late, about 1930, just before closing so food took about 70 minutes to come out but we were having fun anyways. Will be back!
