Blacklock a modern version of the Great British chophouse. Set an old furniture factory in the heart of London’s East End. We take the best meat in the country from the award-winning farmer and butcher Philip Warren in Cornwall. We cook chops simply over our real charcoal grill with a little help from vintage Blacklock irons and serve it all up alongside cocktails that give back and wine on tap in our atmospheric chop mecca. On Sundays we serve a Sunday Roast (almost as good as Mum's).

    Had a great night, the food was great and everyone was friendly and accommodating. Thank you especially to the staff who found my ID after we had left and called us to get it back. Will definitely be back.

    Impressive Sunday roast! We went there for Easter lunch and we got an amazing Sunday roast. Food quantity is extremely generous, staff very attentive without being annoying, fair price for what we got. The only remark we have is about the noise, but being the place fully booked I can understand that noise can be high. We will be back!

    The Sunday roast with a selection of beef, pork and lamb on your plate is great value and tastes amazing. If you have room left for pudding, the cheesecake looks lovely - they serve a slice in front of you which I thought was a nice touch. Water is served in old gin bottles as was my carafe of wine which were nice extra touches. Excellent service that was friendly and didn’t feel rushed despite it being very busy.

    We went on a Sunday for the Sunday roast: all four of us absolutely loved it. It was one of the best roasts I have ever had: the meat was cooked to perfection and the accompanying veg was too (I especially loved the cabbage, super tasty!) The portions were huge, and, considering the quality of the food, it was very reasonably priced. Can 100% recommend

    Lovely food as always and you can’t fault the service, lovely staff set in a lovely venue. However it was incredibly noisy which kind of spoilt the evening slightly. I know there’s nothing that could be done as everyone was in good spirits. But might not be the best choice in future if you’re looking for something a little low key, thanks
