   The Sunday roast with a selection of beef, pork and lamb on your plate is great value and tastes amazing. If you have room left for pudding, the cheesecake looks lovely - they serve a slice in front of you which I thought was a nice touch. Water is served in old gin bottles as was my carafe of wine which were nice extra touches. Excellent service that was friendly and didn’t feel rushed despite it being very busy.

   Great food and great atmosphere. Had one of the best rib eyes I've had in a while. Will certainly be coming back

   Lovely food as always and you can’t fault the service, lovely staff set in a lovely venue. However it was incredibly noisy which kind of spoilt the evening slightly. I know there’s nothing that could be done as everyone was in good spirits. But might not be the best choice in future if you’re looking for something a little low key, thanks

   Service exceptional with nice attentive touches - we were celebrating my son’s 18th birthday. Food quality & super tasty! Best cherry cocktail too!

   Food was excellent ,as was the service, the white chocolate cheesecake is probably the best cheesecake we have ever eaten and the portions are very generous we can’t wait for our next visit

   Exceptional food and drink. We booked for a family of 5 adults on a Sunday lunchtime. 2x sharer’s , 1 cauliflower roast and two Cheese Cake portions. We are big eaters and this was more than enough for us. We did run out of gravy before we had finished and perhaps I should have asked for more, but the staff were really busy. Didn’t retract from our enjoyment of the food. Would recommend to all . Make sure you book well in advance! Thanks to all the staff for looking after us.

   Visited today with my partner. We ordered the all in but requested only lamb and beef as we don’t eat pork. When our food arrived it looked good initially but after trying it we were really disappointed. The beef was decent but the cuts given were really fatty, the lamb was really fatty and hard to chew and so we were not able to eat much of the lamb, both meats were cooked weirdly one side was pink (Rare) and the other brown (well done), one of the pieces of lamb we received was practically white in colour which we thought was odd, the vegetables came slightly hard (undercooked) and not crispy, the gravy at first was decent however when a server came round and topped up the gravy boats it was way too salty and horrible. After reading such good reviews we were expecting a lot better and have had better roasts in local pubs. When it came to paying we told our server we were unhappy with our experience, to our surprise the server didn’t even acknowledge this or bother to follow up on it. We would never return and certainly not recommend this restaurant. Overhyped and disappointing!

Most surprising to me is that your comments were not acted on, which is absolutely not how we do things at Blacklock.    The BEST Sunday roast in London. Food was outstanding. Service was impeccable. They have a smaller portion for kids. It was the best meal we had in London. Highly recommend.

    Food was excellent service was excellent and I could not believe how good the value for money it is eating here! Cheesecake was an amazing finish, will definitely return!
