   Fantastic service from start to finish. We ordered the sharing plate and one of the pieces of beef came out raw in the middle. They quickly swapped it and give us probably 5 times the amount as an apology. This was one of the tastiest and juicy pieces of beef I've ever eaten in my entire life. My girlfriend was then struggling to decide which desert to buy. She eventually decided to order the cheese cake, however then to our surprise they brought out a complimentary bread and butter pudding as an anniversary present for us. What a nice extra touch they added. Highly recommend this place for both the food and the service!

   Fantastic venue, great ambience, food is quality!! But that dessert menu needs updating asap, the choice is limited.

   Steak room temperature not hot. The sweet potatoes are described as ash potatoes. They nearly were all ash. Skins totally burnt and actually the sweet potato tasted burnt all way through. Chips, sauce and gravy were fabulous. Steak tasted good, just wasn't hot enough. Long wait times. We waited 45 minutes for the mains. Wine price is expensive and out a keg. Own bottle of wine even pricier

   We had an exceptionally nice meal out here! The service was second to none, and they also made sure to look after our dog too. Great food, great wine and great vibe. My only disappointment was the portion size of the Chips considering the price, and that one of the steaks we ordered could've been a little hotter in temperature.

   Great new addition to Manchester … very Hawksmoor but half the price . Slight issue with my friend’s steak being too well done , when she had asked for medium rare , but it was handled brilliantly by the staff & we weren’t charged . Would definitely recommend Blacklock & return .

   Had a lovely meal here last night. Chose the fillet steak with chips and the chop sauce. I was surprised how large the fillet was for the price. Our waitress was excellent and there’s a really nice laid back feel to the place. Very good experience.

    We booked this restaurant as my husband likes meat and the reviews were very good. It did not disappoint, the food and service was excellent. Highly recommend to people who like good grilled tasty meat . The platter we shared was lovely
