   Wow. Loved the vibe of the place the second I walked in. The bar is exquisite. The drinks were amazing. We were seated in the dining area and the space was fantastic. Food quality was expected, service was great. I will definitely be back again fro drinks and dinner. Thanks for an excellent experience.

   First time at the restaurant. Wonderful service from entering the restaurant to leaving. Tony our waiter and the other staff didn’t miss a beat with service. Food was wonderful, had the crab cake, one of the few crab cakes that hasn’t been a complete travesty! It was the perfect size for sharing, large pieces of lump crab and almost no filler and perfect seasoning. Steaks were cooked perfectly, served on hot plates with tasty sides. Dessert went home so haven’t had the opportunity to try it. Good wine selection

   We enjoyed our first visit to this restaurant. The space is open and bright. We were seated at a banquette and it was very comfortable. Our server Chris was very pleasant. He took time to explain the specials and answered questions about ingredients. The filet was cooked exactly as ordered, ai was pleased. My friend enjoyed the Maine lobster. She also had the crab bisque which she said was very good. French fries were tasty and asparagus was very nice. We also loved the warm pretzel rolls served with whipped butter. For dessert with shared the sorbet dessert. We tried all 3 flavors and enjoyed the mango, lemon and raspberry. Delicious way to end an excellent meal. Looking forward to a return visit soon!!

   To kick of the New Year my girlfriends and I were out to for a excellent grown grown woman era dinner. The staff was so pleasant Jacob was a excellent and out waitress was very helpful with drink recommendations. The food was exquisite. Two of us had the steak which was very well seasoned. The other person had the red snapper. I would defiantly go back again. All our needs were met.

   We are fans of B&B, the service is just the best. Attentive, friendly, very professional, and the Wellesley location is wonderfully designed. We started with the crab and lobster fondue, first time for us, tasty, and ok. Entrees were the grouper and scallops special.....outstanding. Fish is always, fresh, fresh, fresh, and cooked perfectly. Key lime pie for dessert......a real treat. Adam (and Zack in training) looked after us and helped make it a great experience. Well done again B&B

   Black and Blue in Wellesley is an absolute new gem in Wellesley! The atmosphere is elegant yet welcoming, the service is attentive, and the food is simply outstanding. Every dish is crafted with precision and bursting with flavor. Perfect spot for a date night or special occasion!

    Black and Blue looks like a wonderful addition to the Wellesley restaurant scene. Unfortunately our first experience was not great. The waitress was extremely slow with EVERYTHING . . . both food and drink orders. We would be waiting for another glass of wine and could see her chatting away at the server station in the back of the restaurant. She also made two mistakes on our order. First, I requested extra dressing on the side of my Caesar salad. I received no dressing at all. It took so much time to get her attention and for her to bring the dressing to the table, that my husband finished his salad and our entrees were delivered. We ordered side dishes with our entrees that were never delivered and again, because she was not at all attentive, we never got to request them. They were on the bill though! My husband's salad and dinner were actually quite good. My was not as good. I ordered the grouper which was supposed to be served seared. I received a large piece of fish but it seemed as if it had been plain baked in the oven. It was completely tasteless. Overall, our dinner experience was frustratingly slow and the food quality was quite uneven. We may try black and blue again in a few months to see if they can improve but based on our recent visit, I cannot recommend this restaurant.
