Bereits seit 1974 ermöglicht das »Bangkok Restaurant« im Sandweg seinen Gästen die Küche Thailands kennenzulernen. Das »Bangkok Restaurant« war das erste thailändische Restaurant in Frankfurt am Main und wird inzwischen in zweiter Generation erfolgreich weitergeführt.

Nun hat das »Bangkok Restaurant« Familienzuwachs bekommen. Ein neues Konzept, das weniger die traditionelle Thai-Küche repräsentiert, sondern das pulsierende Leben und die vielen unterschiedlichen Einflüsse der Metropole Bangkok in Food und Ambiente zum Ausdruck bringt.

    Essen ist gut aber sehr an den europäischen Gaumen angepasst, vom Geschmack von Streetfood in Bangkok doch sehr entfernt. Service etwas lieblos und leicht ruppig. Wir wollten kein Dessert, daraufhin kam unaufgefordert die Rechnung und die unausgesprochene aber unübersehbare Aufforderung, den Tisch zu räumen. Unsere Gläser waren noch voll. Für einen Samstagabend auch nicht mehr so gut besucht wie früher.

    Essen war sehr salzig und gar kein Geschmack. Ansonsten wirklich super service. Vielleicht lag es nur an das Thai Curry. Würde nochmal kommen um was neues zu testen.
