   2nd trip in the last 30 days. Very disappointed this time around. Server was rude to my daughters. Two steaks and spaghetti took nearly 45 minutes to get to the table. By the time we got it, the steaks were like chewing on leather, all the food was cold, steaks were overcooked. Server took my steak off the bill since I only took one bite of it and threw my napkin and silverware on the plate and put it at the end of the table to be collected. Not sure if it was server being very slow or the kitchen screwing up but was very disappointed, especially for the amount of money it costs to eat here. It was busier during the previous trip we’d taken here so that’s no excuse.

   Reservations at 6:30pm Valentine’s Day weekend for a party of 6. We had another commitment at 8pm around the corner from the restaurant. Arrived before reservation time, seated around 6:40. Non-alcoholic drinks, appetizers, and food all ordered at the same time, before 7pm. Appetizers arrive before sodas. Surrounding tables sat after us receive their meals and desserts. 7:40 and we’re still on our first soda and the two appetizers. Waiter has stopped back twice to say “we got slammed with orders”. At this point we ask to cancel our orders, we no longer have time to eat before our next stop. The waiter stops back and says we can leave (without charge), and that the manager can come talk to us. The manager offered a recovery gift card for a future visit and apologized for the delays. Service has gone downhill at BJs for years, but this trip took the cake. I thought 90 minutes would’ve been enough to get some basic items (boneless wings, other fried foods, kids kraft Mac that comes from a bag….)

   Overall service was good. Expensive and not very good portion of food. Specially what you pay for. Would expect little bigger portions on the main course.

   Service was great and they took care of us, despite a server in training. She was great. But we had problems with what the kitchen sent out. Key item was my birthday daughter (who picked this place for pizookie), her wings came out pink and bloody inside, we asked the server if they could correct, nicely. When they came back they looked like the National Lampoons turkey, probably 15 min in an air fryer. At that point we were done, we’ve been to this place for a bunch of birthday dinners the kids love pizookies, but we were at the point that we felt like we couldn’t say anything more, we felt bad for the serving staff. I almost asked for the kitchen manager but my daughter asked for me not to do that, her birthday.

   I made a reservation a week prior. The restaurant was no prepared for us and we were not seated until 45 minutes after our reservation. Service was extremely slow. Half of the entrees were delivered and the other half were not delivered for over 30 minutes after. The timing was way off. So the half that got their food tried to wait a bit expecting the rest of the food to come out soon after. When it did not, they began to eat but at that point their food had cooled off. When the second half of the food did arrive over 30 minutes later it was stone cold. Unappetizing. Very disappointing experience considering we went for my boyfriend’s birthday. When they brought his birthday Pizookie it was over baked and in a to go container- not even the cast iron skillet that is expected. Will not be going back. Awful experience.

   Had to wait on a table 30-40 minutes despite having a reservation, the place was very busy, however. They were out of some entrée items, the pork chops and prime rib. One party member's entrée wasn't prepared correctly. I was at the other end of the table, so I couldn't hear what the issue was. The server was great, I think her name was Ava. There was a discrepancy with the bill with the guy whose entrée wasn't prepared right, but Ava got it fixed immediately.

    The had a bunch of empty tables but they were on a lengthy wait. We were seated in the back and our server was good, he did the best he could. He had a party of 15 or more at one table plus several other tables. He was way over capacity. The food was ok at best. I got the spicy peanut noodles. The vegetables in it was extremely overcooked, mushy. Not impressed. My husband liked his burger. The food is overpriced and not the quality you would except. We were disappointed.
