   First and foremost, I completely understand that I was attending this restaurant on Valentines Day and it is a very busy holiday and it is to be expected. My bad experience started upon check in. The hostess seemed very overwhelmed. I informed her I was here for my 8 o’clock reservation and she said “great, all my 8 o clock reservation just got here and I’m not sure where I can seat you”. I said thank you and stepped outside and sat on the couch to wait. It was 15 mins until my boyfriend went inside to use the restroom and after coming back the hostess asked him if he had been helped. I then came in and the hostess said to me “oh there you are” then realizing she had forgotten about us. We did get seated right away after that. We were sat in a beautiful room at a nice table with a great ambiance. It was another 15 mins until a waitress came over and took our drink order. Seeing how this could be, we put appetizers in also. It took 20 mins to get out drinks, so much that our appetizers came first. When our food came, we put our food order in immediately. Food overall was great! Waitress was not very present aside from dropping off any ordered item. She did offer a free dessert, very generous! After asking and receiving out check, it took another 25 mins to get the checked picked up, so much that the female hostess checked twice if our table was free to seat someone else and then the male host with the long hair came over to grab our check and cash us out, only then did the waitress come back and say to him “I was just coming to get that!” and rang us out. Overall not a very pleasant experience. I was very excited for a first dining experience here asking many friends for recommendations, we even made reservations! Again, totally get the holiday rush but overall not a very good pleasant first experience, given the price point of the dinner also

   I love this place for their food but their service is sooooooo slow. The food makes it worth it but we’ve had a similar experience before with the terrible service so I know it’s not just a one time thing.

   We sat at the sushi bar and had great conversation with Fernando, one of the sushi chefs. Food was good, great fish quality. Not the best sushi rice I’ve had but wasn’t bad. Service was definitely slow and we were there at a relatively early time so it wasn’t overly busy.. was a little disappointed as we had quite the bill for feeling underwhelmed. Would highly recommend the neo genesis roll and yellowtail crudo. The meat flight was a little expensive for undersalted meat

   Great food, some of the best sushi you’ll find in the state. Everything was had was amazing and the best service we have had in years.

   While food was not bad, there was nothing special about the food. The service was kind of slow and drawn out, even with several staff members. They were accommodating with our early arrival and birthday request. However, nothing special set them apart from other similar restaurants. Overall it was a okay experience. Staff was kind and knowledgeable.

   The happy hour has excellent food and drink values. There are dozens of bargains. Our food was all unique and excellent. The rolls were excellent and the cod fish was amazing.

   Our server has waited on us before and was just fabulous. I think his name is Chiante (SP?) His brother works there also, if that helps. He was very attentive to our needs and the pace of our meal was perfect. We loved the scallop appetizer and the Argentinian steak, especially the mushrooms!

    All of the apps and sushi we had were very delicious! Prices were on the up side but bc it was so good, it was worth it.
