   Boy this place has gone downhill. To start they have a bizarre seating policy, we got there early for our reservation and they tell everyone “we are getting your table ready” when we check in. There are tons of empty tables at this point, we then wait 25 minutes while they seat parties coming in late for their reservations. So silly. We sat down and did t get served for twenty minutes i mean not even a drink order. The pizza was inedible, wet, like the mushrooms and greens just leached water and the whole thing was so soggy and gross.

   Food was decent but our experience was diminished by the mediocre service from impersonal servers. We started with drinks and appetizers. One person in our party ordered a drink (lemon drop) that should have a sugar rim. It was a salt rim. We finally flagged down the server and he was indifferent to it (like it was preference to have a sugar rim) and had a new one made. When the food came, they did a shout-out asking who ordered what like you’d expect at a cheap roadside diner. After we were literally done eating 20 minutes later with empty plates the server asked if we wanted any parm or chili peppers. It was like the server was just going through the motions robotically. For the price point there’s lots of other nearby restaurants with far better service.

   Best pizza in Palm Springs, and pasta is perfectly al dente. Be sure to try the garlic knots!

   The food was average at best. Everything we were served was well prepared but all of it was ordinary both in its taste and presentation. Overall, dinner was pretty disappointing as we were expected a bit of an elevated dining experience from all the hype on/by OpenTable.

   For years has been one of the best spots in Palm Springs. It still is. We are here every February and visit a few times. Can’t wait to return next year.

    Loved the Birba pizza and the farro & broccoli salad. The patio is energetic and delightful. The service is friendly and helpful. Loved it all!
