   Food took 30 minutes, was not hot, waiter did not check on us at all, no one cleared dirty plates and we had to ask for the check multiple times.

   Food was mediocre. Tables were crammed into a very small dining room area. Will not go there again.

   Lunch was very good! I got Chicken, Avocado, Mozzarella sandwich with fries for $17. Very tasty and had enough to take home. Fried mozzarella was the star of the show, would absolutely recommend. Atmosphere was very inviting and clean. Tables were a little close together and made it slightly hard for servers to get around (not their fault though). Will be coming back once their brunch menu comes out!

   We are not from here, it was a busy day in Georgetown. This place was packed, looked really nice. Food was good. It was just so busy, loud and not relaxed. Maybe it was just where we sat. So loud, constant servers running around. Sweeping and spraying cleaner on the floor while we were eating. I don’t know, just didn’t love it.

   This restaurant charges per black iced tea and asks you to pick a size. Wtf. This isn’t overpriced Europe where you pay $5 per thimble of beverage…the owners need a market reality check.

   Great dining in a casual restaurant with very good vibe. Ordered buffalo wings extra crispy and they were fantastic. Salads are huge, great to share. Burgers and BLT perfect. Waitress suggested we try the Espresso Shot, Signature drink of the Restaurant owner....Espresso Whiskey. It is a MUST HAVE. Bought a bottle to go!

   We had dinner here this evening. We are from out of town and didn’t know it was a new establishment. The first 3 drinks we ordered on the menu weren’t available, nor were the two appetizers we requested. We randomly got a new server who thankfully explained why there were hiccups. We appreciated his honesty and the remainder of the night was great! The food portions are large, everything was tasty! We will go back next time we are in town and the little kinks are worked out! Lots of promise!

   As we left my friend, Jill, said: "Well that was a C-." And I said: "No, they should never have been in the class." When we arrived at 6 PM, with a reservation, we were seated at a two-top near the kitchen and the hallway leading to the bathrooms. We asked to be moved; the restaurant was almost empty. Our waiter was lovely, if clueless. We ordered cocktails, the same dinner and a side of french fries. The fries arrived immediately; they were cold and had obviously been under the warmer. The waiter came back to say our entrees were un-available. Neither was the glass of wine Jill ordered. During the time we were there they played with the lighting ... it ranged from strangely, romantically, dark to "a spotlight chair." Our tacos, that we ordered after our original orders weren't available, were mediocre at best. It's a fabulous location. But it shouldn't yet be open. All new openings have hick-ups but there was nothing good about Billy Hicks (apologies to St. Elmo's Fire), except the sweet, clueless waiter and he wasn't at all good, just a really nice kid.

    So excited for this new Georgetown restaurant- I was so sort of obsessed with St. Elmo's Fire as a kid so thought the name was clever. We ate there on its 2nd day open. 1) Decor is bistro American chic- I can tell it will be popular with locals and tourists alike 2) The menu is accessible with many options for different dietary tastes. I eat mostly vegetarian so I am always thrilled to see a menu with vegetarian options. One thing is that since they just opened, they don't have all the items on the menu available yet. That being said, there are lots to meals to choose from. 3) The complimentary Gougères basket was fantastic. It was hard for our table not to ask for another. 4) Service: everyone was super positive and knowledgeable. You could tell they liked being there. 5) Price: extremely reasonable for lunch in Georgetown. Their prices are slightly less than a few other sit down restaurants in the area. Quality: I had an excellent chopped salad (sans meat) and my friends all enjoyed their meals (salmon entree and a burger). The salad and salmon entrees were generously sized so we took home half the meal. I highly recommend Billy Hicks and look forward to going back.
