I would describe Biggles Bar and Grill as a hotel restaurant that you might eat at, only because it is conveniently located in the hotel. The service was ordinary. After being seated we sat nearly 20 minutes before being told that we needed to place our order at the counter. The staff were very unsure about available meals and dessert options. The kids chicken nuggets seemed ok, kids were happy. The Chicken schnitzel was ok, my wife was not super impressed but nothing to complain about, I had a steak which sells for around $43. It was well overcooked after ordering a medium steak. The salad was also only lettuce and grated carrot, it was at least fresh but I wouldn’t order it again.

Don’t bother unless you’re in walking distance - Despite booking a table, there was no car parking available on site so we couldn’t actually experience Biggles

Brendan and his staff are always outstanding. They are very friendly and make this bar worthwhile "staying in" rather than venturing outside

Table that we reserved through open table wasn’t booked, restaurant knew nothing about it. Definitely can’t trust the process or recommend open table

Great range of food, fun staff. It’s lovely to go to a restaurant we’re staff love what they do. We also witnessed a true sign of what values the staff hold. An elderly lady dropped her meal and it was replaced free of charge for her. I doubt you would see that in many places. Highly admirable. Look forward to returning.

Food was good and service staff polite. but they didn't seem to have any record of my booking through OpenTable. But they sat me at a table that was acceptable and away from the main crowd, which is what I wanted.
