Food was excellent as always- though inconsistent. Ordered a pasta dish we had had two weeks prior, and it was different. Wish they would serve the garlic knits (on the menu but told they no longer offer- had them two weeks ago and they were excellent). Pizza, pasta and a steak were delicious, though heavy on the salt. Service was awful, which is unfortunately typical. Slow, order mistakes, had to ask repeatedly for serving spoons, not even sure if they have a dessert menu as we were given the check without asking if we wanted another drink, coffee or dessert. Corkage fee of $25 (which is not an issue, though wait staff initially said $35 and two weeks ago we were told they didn’t have a wine list and would wave it)- whisked way our bottle and decanted it, never poured it and seemed annoyed that we had brought wine (even though we checked at last visit and were encouraged to bring a bottle).

The food was delicious but services was awful. It felt like there needed to be Atleast one more server because the bartender was our waiter and he was not attentive at all. It was my birthday and I never got a happy birthday, my husband order a cheesecake for me and asked for a small candle and we go the cheese cake but no candle. The food was great and the pizzas were amazing. I’d give this place one more shot before potentially never going back.

Food was good, great taste! Ambience was nice, but a bit loud… maybe because we were seated RIGHT under a speaker. All in all, would recommend and go back again.! 👍🏽

I had high hopes for Biest, especially with its incredible ambiance. The restaurant looks amazing--the bar area is classy, and for Valentine's Day, they had red roses and candles on each table, creating a romantic atmosphere. Our host initially told us we were 10 minutes early for our reservation (which we weren't), but they seated us right away, which was a great start. Unfortunately, the experience declined from there. Our server was fine but didn't seem very familiar with the menu. We started with the garlic bread, which came with only four small rolls. They were okay but would have been much better with some sauce. The biggest issue was the wait time for food. Despite a smaller menu than before, it took over 40-45 minutes to arrive. Meanwhile, our drinks came in a reasonable time and were enjoyable. My date ordered the Grilled Hanger Steak (medium, chef's recommendation)--it was fine but nothing special, and I could easily make a better steak at home. It was served with mashed potatoes but also unexpectedly had roasted potatoes. I had the Penne Rigate with spicy Italian sausage, which had some heat but was overwhelmingly oily. The sauce lacked depth and flavor, which was disappointing for an Italian restaurant. Adding to the frustration, no one checked on us during the long wait. When it was time to pay, I asked if I could use Apple Pay, and they said yes. However, they handed me a physical check and walked away. When I asked again, they told me I had to wait since they were busy. Overall, Biest has a stunning atmosphere, but the food and service don't match the aesthetic. I might return to try their pizza, but I won't expect much. If you're going to be a great Italian restaurant, your pasta needs to be exceptional. My rating: 5/10 (3 stars)--great ambiance, decent drinks, but lackluster food and service.

We had our worst experience at Biest for brunch on Saturday February 15. We didn’t even think it would be an issue. There was only 1 other couple, upon entry the music was blasting and the hostess let us know they did not have pizza available because they had sold out the night before. Not an issue because we were there for breakfast. We were seated, the table was still sticky from the night before. Our waitress came over and let us know they also could not serve all but one of the breakfast items. We decided to stay anyway, the food was ok but not their usual quality. We couldn’t hear each other because it was so loud, the waitress made a few mistakes, and we attributed it to the chaos of the day. We have been going to Biest for years and it has almost always been good, but after this visit we will probably give it a while before we try them again.

Unfortunately regardless of having an appointment they took us in about 20 minutes later, food took about 30 min and they forgot to put all the ingredients in it. The food did end up tasting good but they didn’t have any pizzas that day which was the reason I went
