BE.STEAK.A is an American steakhouse with fine dining Italian roots. Founded by Chef/Owner Jeffrey Stout of Orchard City Kitchen. Chef Patrick Capurro runs the helm under Chef's Stouts watchful eye. BE.STEAK.A prides itself in lavish extravagant touches that invite the guest into a special kind of restaurant. Our friendly staff are professional seasoned veterans who look at hospitality as an art. We feature both an a la carte menu as well as a prix fixe tasting menu. BE.STEAK.A has two private dining rooms for larger parties doing events as well as two outdoor patios. Our cocktail program and bar are second to none. We have one of the largest selections of Vintage Amaro. Wine Director Ty Blana has crafted a well thought out list. We offer lunch Friday and Saturday. Sunday - we host a grand brunch buffet which is a great way to spend a Sunday with family and friends. We invite you to visit on the bay areas best restaurants as well as one of the best steakhouses.

    Fantastic brunch experience! The plating was spectacular, especially with the small plates. I loved how everything was presented. I loved the seafood selection, especially their poke and hamachi crudo. I also liked the cooked shrimp. The desserts were absolutely fabulous. It was a really nice brunch experience. I didn't try a lot of the hot foods, but everything looked really good!

    Be Steak A delivers a promising dining experience with a mix of highs and lows. Atmosphere: The ambiance is exceptional, with thoughtful lighting, a well-planned layout, and an engaging view into the kitchen that adds an exciting element to the dining experience. It’s a place where you feel comfortable and intrigued by the culinary action. Food: The filet was the undeniable highlight—perfectly cooked with a rich, delicious flavor, complemented beautifully by shallots and smoked béarnaise. It was an impressive dish that showcased the kitchen’s talent. The ravioli, on the other hand, was decent but slightly let down by some burnt edges, which detracted from the overall experience. Service: Unfortunately, the service didn’t match the restaurant’s potential. While the initial introduction from the main waiter was timely, there was a notable lapse in attentiveness afterward. It took 10 minutes of waiting and flagging down the server to place a beverage order, and another 10 minutes for the drinks to arrive—just moments before the food was served. The delay was especially disappointing given the simplicity of the drinks. Preemptively ordering a glass of Cabernet to enjoy with the filet proved to be a wise decision, as it might otherwise have been served as an aperitif. Overall, Be Steak A excels in atmosphere and food but falls short on service. With some attention to improving the front-of-house experience, it could easily elevate itself to match its full potential.

    Very good service and excellent server. The food is good but doesn't seem worth the money. The prime was stringy and tough which was a disappointment.

    Had high expectations and the restaurant delivers. Food and service are 5-star no doubt. Came for anniversary dinner on a Sunday. It was relatively busy but not loud. I wish there were more restaurants like this in San Jose.

    In the beginning, I was looking forward to this place since my friend recommended it but I will have to say theirs food was a bit on the saltier side. Portion was pretty decent compared to other places. The fried rice is over salted and so was the meat but their deviled egg with truffle was to die for. I would recommend going once to try the experience but not worth a second time. Cheers!

    Excellent ambience and service. The food is terrific. We’ve only had lunch at the restaurant but the experience was as good as a Michelin star dinner.

    Absolutely the best brunch buffet I’ve been to if you like meat and caviar. Don’t miss the prime rib, porchetta, and most of all the Beef Wellington (it goes fast). Head there first. Caviar bar is spectacular and an amazing value. Service is on point, attentive but not pushy. If you drink get the egg soufflé Ramos Fizz.
