After ten years of continued success in the New York metro area, Benjamin Restaurant Group is proud to open its newest space, Benjamin Steakhouse Prime. Here, modern elegance is combined with traditional steakhouse classics, while also showcasing signature standouts from highly regarded sister property Benjamin Steakhouse. After perfecting both steakhouse and seafood concepts in their arsenal, Benjamin Restaurant Group is highlighting the grill at Prime, serving up USDA prime dry aged steaks and succulent seafood in unique ways. The 10,000 square foot space houses an expansive main dining room featuring wall mounted fireplaces. A temperature-controlled wine wall is exposed throughout the upper level which also offers five customizable private dining spaces for seating of up to 100+ guests.

    food just isn't that great for the price. people were drunk and loud. overall i've had better food for half the price with more culinary inspiration. the best thing i had was the oysters.

    Best steakhouse. The food was spectacular. The service was excellent and it was a perfect thing to do before going to see a Broadway show. A little bit of a walk to get to the theaters but really a wonderful experience.

    First time at Prime, we normally visit the original around the block. Food and general service were very good, as always. Music was a bit loud, making it a bit distracting as we conversed. Very disappointed, however, that they did nothing for a noted birthday celebration. I noted it on the app and when I spoke with them to confirm the reservation. They told me they would acknowledge. Around the corner, they bring out a small celebratory dessert for the person celebrating and sing. In this instance, they simply wished the celebrant a happy birthday. Next time, back to the original.

    Food is great as always. As I was leaving the restaurant I was grabbed by our waiter and he asked “Sir was something wrong with the service” I said no. He proceeded to tell me that “ the suggested tip is $57 then”. I had a left a $30 tip. It’s beyond me that a waiter would feel comfortable to grab my arm to ask for a higher tip. I’ve never experienced this level of entitlement from a restaurant worker.
