   First impression is that the place needs a deep cleaning. Smells like old fryer oil. Torn carpeting and greasy handrails. Staff not face to face greeting and shouted/waved directions from behind the bar. Not welcoming at all. Short wait for our table, even though there was only 1 other table engaged at the time we arrived. Long wait for water and drinks order. (10 min). ordered and were very adamant about the one shellfish allergy only to have the chef plop down all of the shrimp right in front of the person we pointed out as allergic. the food was served in starts and spurts with the sushi entree arriving 10 mins before the disjointed other entrees where the veg came 5 min before the rice which came 10 min after the beef and chicken. Not able to put together the logic of the service order, but it seemed like 3 different people were making 3 different parts of the meal, the fried rice came after everything else was consumed. The flattop was turned on for 30 mins before the venthood was, so we all got smoked and went home smelling like we worked a shift at the fryer. After the dishes were cleared and the bill brought, Ice cream was offered, as part of the meal. We already had our coats on at that point. We still tipped well, but for 475 bucks We would go somewhere else next time.

   I LOVE BENIHANA!! The food is delicious and served fresh and hot right before your eyes. The cooks put on a marvelous show very entertaining. Best of all it's family friendly.

   Worst hibachi experience! Not worth the $150 bill. Waited an hour after reservation to be seated another 45 min to food. Waiter was great and friendly. Food was awful for price. Soba noodles guy cooked for 16 seconds on grill and they were cold and hard. Cooke was 0 entertaining and gave me well done vs medium steak. Manager gave me hardly a discount after I asked for something to be taken off due to the disappointment . She made excuses of them being busy. I’m sorry you don’t get to charge $49 a plate and serve quickly cooked crappy unseasoned food.

   Was expecting a better level of food quality and service. Restaurant needs updating, hibachi chef was boring and added nothing to the experience. Would probably not return to this restaurant again.

   The food was top notch!! Only thing was the cook we had didn’t talk much and wasn’t entertaining like the other cooks were.

   The food and chef were fantastic. The service not so much. We arrived ten minutes before our reservation and didn't get seated until 15 minutes past our reservation. We didn't get our drinks for another 20 minutes after being seated. Also as an FYI, if you order the fried rice get it with chicken. It's an extra $6.50 for regular fried rice and the same price as chicken fried rice per person. On a positive, the food was delicious and our chef was fantastic.

    We waited a long time for the chef to come to our table. We didn’t all of our meal and the food tasted horrible. We will not be going back!
