   The food was amazing. Service wasn’t the best. They set us at the wrong table for our set menu Valentine’s Day dinner. We ended up seated in the middle of the restaurant and was basically ignored after they sat us down. Finally got their attention and lots of apologies about seating us in the wrong area. They quickly moved us to the correct table in a more secluded part of the restaurant but then took forever to bring out drinks and didn’t really ask for any additional drinks order. We had the seafood platter and it was incredible so no faulting the quality of the food. I’m not sure it the correct ambience for what they are trying to achieve with the decor. It looks like a place where it would be great for a date night but I would say it is not. More of a hotel restaurant eatery vibe, if you are seated in the main restaurant, tables are close together so you are right next to the people next to you and it’s noisy. I’d go back for a business lunch type meal but probably not for another date night. Considering they had taken the trouble of doing a special menu for Valentine’s Day, I think the lack of attention to detail let the whole experience down.

   The service was excellent, nothing was an effort for the friendly welcoming staff. Our baby was well cared for as were all adults in our party of 7. The steak was excellent as were the calamari & soup.

   We had a very nice experience at the Belvedere. The food is great, good portions and flavour, and the staff is very friendly. Nice atmosphere.

   We went for a 3 course, fixed price Christmas dinner. The price was higher than most of the fine dining in the area, which would be OK for a special occasion. The food was exceedingly average and incredibly overpriced for the quality we received. The portions were ridiculously large and none of the patrons around us finished any course. In our case, due to the terrible quality. The management should be embarrassed by their performance and greed.

   Supposed to be a Christmas Dinner, anything but, only thing Christmas was a pull cracker. Totally overpriced for the basic everyday menu:- Would not recommend eating there ever..

   We were there for Xmas lunch and it was simply the best The food was excellent compliments to the chef’s amazing The service was outstanding customer service personified which made our special day it turned from customer service into customer satisfaction The ambience was special a great Xmas feel especially when we were far from our Gold Coast home We can’t speak highly enough of our experience and we will definitely be back before going home and it will always be a special place to come for us when in Hobart Do yourself a big favour and visit this amazing restaurant

   Organised a small dinner party (7 pax) for my mother's birthday recently. While the booking procedure was smooth I simply could not contact the venue to ask a few simple requests. Tried several times via telephone and sent messages to no avail...? While the food was OK it was an abbreviated menu which apparently was the norm for Sunday nights, fortunately the Mushroom Risotto satisfied the two vegans in our group.

    I attended this restaurant with a friend who uses a wheelchair. Upon arrival the waiter moved items to ensure a clear pathway to our table. He also removed the chair so that my friend's wheelchair could be at the table. Service was very prompt, attentive, friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and alcohol list. We ordered oysters, ravioli and salt and pepper squid. All meals were outstanding in not only presentation but flavour as well. The decor was delightful and comfortable. Would definitely come and dine here again.
