   My dining experience at Bellona was wonderful. Our server was really helpful and friendly. They were very helpful with recommendations and helped us pick things that were safe for our dietary restrictions. The cocktails were really delicious. We sampled about 5 different cocktails and every one was delicious. They use excellent quality semolina wheat for all their pastas which was fantastic. There were lots of vegan options and the ambience was great. The restaurant has a really cute and modern aesthetic and the booths are really comfortable to sit in. I look forward to many happy returns to Bellona!

   We opted for the $27 three course cantina meal at the bar. I checked with my 2 fellow diners, & we agreed that basically, in the option we chose, there were a lot of fillers. For instance, gorgonzola pear salad had a smallish section of pear, just a little gorgonzola cheese, a few candied walnuts, & and amazingly large amount of baby spinach. The sliders were tasty, but dwarfed by the amount of bread they came with. Similarly, the pasta dishes had very tasty garnishes, but were mostly just the plain pasta itself. We felt cramped at the bar, not enough knee room. If making a recommendation, & if I were to go back again, I would suggest if eating rather than drinking was your main interest, don't go unless you can sit in a booth & order a la carte from the main menu.

   Great atmosphere and friendly staff at this College Ave gem. So impressed by the volume of vegan options on the standard menu, with other options that could be made vegan too. The food was fantastic and I highly recommend the fried ravioli as a starter option.
