   We just searched for an Italian restaurant in Sedona. We were pleasantly surprised with our find. The decor is so traditionally Italian but felt warm and inviting. Our server was so good and attentive. The menu is large but not too large. A nice variety of choices. I had the pollo parmigiana which had two nice size breasts and spaghetti with a good sauce. My friend had pasta primavera which had a variety of vegetables. We both enjoyed our meals.

   Food was not good. They claim it’s home made pasta. I’m Italian and if that’s their version of home made pasta, they should find a new pasta maker. My wife ate 1/4 of her pasta before giving up. Server didn’t even ask how it was when we said we were done and didn’t ask for a box to go.

   Very disappointed with the quality of the food and the prices. It is listed as $30 and under on OpenTable, but even regular pasta is over $30. The Caesar salad was one of the worst I've ever tasted. Way over dressed and with bad dressing, not homemade as it allured to, which they charged $16 for. The soup tomato basil, was thick and sweet, edible, but not great, also $16. Because my boyfriend and I both ordered a pasta dish, which came with no veggies (each dish was over $30), we decided to order a side of veggies, which was the best thing we received. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

   We hadn’t been to Bella Vita in quite some time, didn’t remember much and didn’t know what to expect The environment is a little dark and Old World so I was a little skeptical at first. There were six of us, including our grandchildren (9 & 11).. But our experience tuned out to be terrific. The food was excellent and authentic. The portions were generous and our sometimes hard to please grandchildren found plenty of things to their liking. Our waitress Sadie was cheerful and attentive. All in all a very positive experience. Will repeat.

   We drove out to Bella Vita for a Thursday night dinner, it’s a ways out of Sedona. We were early but seated right away. The atmosphere was a little different, definitely not desert southwest. Our server, Siri, was very energetic and attentive. We had the eggplant appetizer, delicious, and 2 entrees, also delicious. All the pasta is freshly made, this makes such a difference. Our dinners, app, dessert, and a bottle of wine came out to under $100!

   VERY slow service. Took 15 minutes sitting at the table to get acknowledged. Another 15 minutes to get a glass of wine. I don't know how long to get dinner. Restaurant is understaffed and that is part of the problem; the bartender would disappear throughout the evening. Our waitress had to pour the wine. She was a good waitress, just had too many tables to serve and multiple tasks to do. The food was delicious. If you're in the least bit impatient, skip this restaurant.

    Very comfortable and cozy atmosphere dor dinner. Fine food and wine is served by competent and friendly staff. There are great daily specials before 6 pm that are delicious and a good value.
