   It starts with the ingredients. The ingredients were excellent quality and the food was amazing. Local Salcombe beers and ciders complimented local seafood.

   The food was ok although lacking in some flavour. Mussels on the cold side temperature wise. Would have benefited from a warm sauce rather than the water they appears to have been cooked in. Burrata not that creamy. Had to move tables which was awkward for 80 year old Mother. We have had had better here in the past. But it’s a great location.

   One star rating as although we had a confirmed reservation which was made several weeks ago the restaurant was actually closed. Only discovered this when checking online where there were three different opening and food service times listed depending where you looked. We weren’t contacted and tried numerous times to call. Luckily we didn’t set off on a half hour walk along the coastal path to get there. Overall very poor and disappointing still waiting for a call.
