I was significantly disappointed when I was confirmed for 12:30pm on Mother’s Day and on the eve of this day, I received a confirmation for 11:15 sitting via email. There was no interest in seeing how they could accommodate the original confirmed time and was left with no choice but to go with the new time as it was too late to book another restaurant on such short notice and on Mother’s Day! If I had a choice I would have elected not dine here due to this experience in booking.

Firstly the online booking got screwed up and bounced us to an hour earlier. Even though the problem was remedied the person helping me (Christina) could not empathise with my frustration, and I was treated this without not even a "You're welcome" when I thanked her...she just hung up the phone. Furthermore, to charge the prices you do and not include sides...that's a little 'rich'. At least include a salad and fries/mash instead of having to pay extra for these. Renee who waited on us was an absolute 'Godsend'...one of your very few 'saving graces'

Meals were huge and the tasting platter we had for two was more than enough. Could have fed three people. It was a great dish as it included a taste of all the dishes. The pork knuckle cracking was crispy and delicious. Took a long time to get there but would definitely go back. The old church still has the stained glass windows and reminded us of our visit to the Haufbrouhaus in Munich. Staff were pleasant and service good.

Our hostess was gracious, very patient and helpful. The japanese waitress that served us was fun and always present. Food was timely. Had a great time.

This dining experience was particularly special as it made me reminisce to my childhood and the food my grandmother use to cook. Compliments to the chefs and the lovely waitress Petra!

Evening started fair with a round of drinks from the bar before constant harassment to order food and drinks ever 5 mins. Went to go to the bathroom to be told by the waiter that we needed to vacate the table due to another booking. Never told about limited time on table as we were about to order dessert. Every two mins between 8pm and 8:15pm the waiter kept pushing and pushing for us to leave. All parties at the table work in hospitality and we have never witness rudeness and service like that.
