Chef / Owner Pat Pascarella of The Porchetta Group welcomes you to his third restaurant, Bastone. Bastone is home to an Italian wine focused mozzarella bar featuring handcrafted pastas and craft cocktails. The star of the show is Bastone’s mozzarella bar offering charcuterie and hand pulled mozzarella to order. With 60 indoor seats, over 100 outdoor and a 10-40 person private dining room, Bastone offers experiences from an intimate date night to large gatherings for friends, family, and business.

    We’ve loved Bastone and visited regularly since it opened but have noticed a significant decline in the quality of the food and the overall presentation of the restaurant. The focaccia was cold and hard, and two out of the four pastas we ordered were inedible — the carbonara and cacio e pepe tasted sour and was not of the quality we had grown to expect and love from the restaurant. I was mortified as I had family from out of town and was raving about the food. A weird note: the hostess had Uggs on and a zip up hoodie which was unexpected for a restaurant of this calibre. Overall disappointing and will likely be our last visit here.

    Sat at the bar. The servers were knowledgeable and offered a great explanation of all of the items on the menu. Definitely try the mozzarella while you’re here.

    Deliciously simple food! Not simple like “basics but simple as in pure and fresh and elegant! Great drinks! Service has been wonderful both times we’ve been (Noah is hilarious and fun!)

    Food was absolutely great but it is very frustrating they keep changing the concept of the restaurant. I loved going and being able to order a la carte choices to go along with the mozzarella tasting. Now you only have one flight option and 3 boards

    We enjoyed our business dinner but some entrees were smaller than we expected. The Primi plates were a great shareable.

    We were hoping for a lot better quality food but I’d say this is on par with Olive Garden. Decent drinks and ambiance, but the food is mediocre at best.

    Excellent food and service, good ambience but we dined at 4 pm so I can’t comment on prime time noise levels. It’s pricey, so I only rated the value as good. Will definitely return to try more menu items and will recommend to others.
