   Bastille remains one of the very best restaurants in Old Town Alexandria. All four of us loved what we ordered (duck breast/duck confit/risotto/scallops) and the service we received from Darya was impeccable. We've been here many times before and will undoubtedly revisit many times in the future.

   Excellent food as always. I like the option to choose between 2 prix fixe menus or a la carte. Wine list is reasonable. I wish it were a bit less noisy.

   Wonderful experience - great food, menu choices, and staff. Our waiter Andres, was terrific. This is the very best in French in NoVA!

   Another fabulous dining experience at Bastille for a family birthday meal. The welcome, food and service never disappoint and we love going back for the food, ambience and the people. The duck breast and filet steak frites are our go to entrees and both dishes were as delicious as ever. We just love the quality and consistency and great value of the whole experience.

   the food here is always good. servers are nice and helpful. food came out surprisingly fast. husband had salmon, i had risotto with mushrooms and friend had scallops. we all had beet salads. i just miss the old atmosphere- it was so cozy and quaint.

   Love Bastille-the menu is great. Only critique is that the cocktail menu is not as good as it used to be. Used to be a real terrific variety with good flavor-tart, shrub cocktails. Now just syrupy sweet. Bring back the old menus! Food still solid though and service is excellent!

    Greatly enjoyed our meal at Bastille. I had the French onion soup and mushroom fennel risotto with tarragon. Both were scrumptious. My husband had the shrimp beignets and Cow au vin, which he also enjoyed greatly. We split a huge napoleon for dessert. Our waiter was charming, and the room was quiet and pleasant. ( Not that many customers on a weeknight, so could be noisier at times).
