We arrived on time and were greeted with a big smile from the hostess, Linda. Our table was waiting and Theresa, our waitress, came over and brought water and took our drink order. We had some delicious Pinot Grigio (Fini) and started with clams casino, which were cooked perfectly. We then had salads which were crisp and fresh. We both got chicken picatta served piping hot. For dessert we had the crème brûlée. The restaurant had a nice crowd and the dinner was a perfect 10. My friend and I were catching up and never felt rushed. Theresa knew exactly when to check on us and always made sure we had what we needed. Basil has always been a favorite of ours and as we walked out we made plans for our next visit. People say this is a hidden gem in Medfield and they’re not wrong. Outstanding experience!

Our waitress Peggy was excellent. Very friendly and attentive. The food was amazing. The drinks were very good. We enjoyed ourselves. We can hear ourselves. Talk to each other. Wasn’t too loud love going there.

Theresa was our server. She is always kind, patient and excellent at her craft. The food is always magnificent. I had the big stuffed haddock and my husband had the big seafood casserole. We are always happy with our food and service at Basils. It is one of our top restaurants that we frequent.

Always a pleasant dining experience. Very accommodating service. Enjoy making reservations on opentable. Very busy when we arrived and we were sat in a very short time. Looking forward to our next visit.
