Food was unfortunately subpar. Steak was tough, chicken was bland, service was extremely slow. Had high hopes for a new place in town. The bar downstairs is a better option.

Our first time to Basalt was an awesome dining experience. The food was exceptional, the service was great. My wife and I were celebrating our wedding anniversay and were surprised with a specialy dessert to fit the occasion.

Our waitress, Tee, was so wonderful. She’s was attentive, had perfect advice on the menu, and flattered my wife endlessly, which won a loyal customer. Food was fantastic. We’ll be back.

Service was excellent. Food not so great. French onion soup, was full of bread and cheese, very little broth. Chips seasoned with salt and vinegar homemade and good, however paired with a truffle dipping sauce that was to rich to complement the chips.overwhelming Crab Cake good again soaked in sauce so it was more like soup than a crab cake

The wine we felt is overpriced. The food was very good. Wasn’t a fan of the dressing used on the Caesar salad as it seemed overly fishy and salty to me. On the other hand , the asparagus was exceptional and the chicken main dish was cooked to perfection. Service was great.

This was our second time dining here, but the first with the full and complete menu. My wife and I both had Filet. She added the Chef’s sauce on the side and I added the Au Poivre sauce. We both enjoyed our sauces but Chef’s sauce was a little sweet for me. Everything we ordered was delicious. The funeral potatoes were different than I had expected but very good nonetheless. The service was outstanding. Ti (or Tee) was delightful and even though the place was 100% booked she was available whenever we needed her. Her last words to us were "Take your time. This table is yours for the night if you want it.” This was prior to 8pm and clearly there was time for another seating. The views are impressive. Someone decided to put a movable wall in the back third of the restaurant. This effectively blocks the 360 view from that corner. Not sure why it’s there but my guess is it will be gone by the next time we eat there. Makes no sense to create an artificial private room at the expense of the views. I have golfed Black Desert 3 times and it looks completely different and the colors are mesmerizing from the third floor. My only "complaint” is the wine pour in the oversized glasses looks like a kid sitting at the grown up table at Thanksgiving. For $25 a glass either add the other 2 ounces or get much smaller glasses. All in all exactly what Ivins people have been asking for and were promised. Without drinks figure $250 per couple before tip.

waiter Johnathan was fantastic; food and wine ridiculously overpriced. Ordered a medium prepared steak, came out well done!!! really??? It’s a steakhouse! Can’t tell you profoundly over cooked a steak?

Have been here twice and the food is fantastic. The setting needs help. It feels like you’re eating with everyone else. The seating is side by side. For party’s of 2 you have zero privacy. The views are great though and service is good.
