   We were at BV last night, and the food was delicious. The food presentation is beautiful. The best humus, burger, and tuna tartar I had in a long time. For desert, the chocolate fondant was insanely delicious. Awesome wine menu. Will definitely come back.... actually, this coming Monday I'll be coming back for my birthday 🎂 celebration with my gals. The best!!! Well done, BV team!

   Our lovely server was knowledgeable and attentive. Each dish we tried was special and had deep and delicious flavors. We can’t wait to return to this new and wonderful gem of a restaurant!

   Excellent new addition to the Stamford scene on Bedford Street. Ambience is what brought me in, food is what will bring me back! Had the sampler with fresh pita and the halloumi cheese and watermelon to start - outstanding and good portion sizes! Entree was duck leg confit....fabulous! PLUS the service was outstanding (Kallil) - very attentive and friendly! A MUST TRY!

   A perfectly delightful first visit to the newest restaurant on Bedford St. Lamb shank with couscous and snap teas so full of flavor and lamb was falling off the shank it was so tender. Best hummus and warm mouthwatering pita and Green baby gem with green goddess dressing great tastes. Fried Eggplant crispy, perfect spices and large portion. Our server Krill was very attentive and professional. Can’t wait to go back we had a6pm res on a crummy weather night and the restaurant was filled to capacity by 7!

   Barvera is a new Mediterranean style restaurant that just opened in early 2025 on Bedford Street. Our experience was wonderful and it’s nice to see the packed restaurant on a Saturday night. The location is perfectly situated next to Hudson Social and other hopping restaurants and bars. It’s a hit! We shared various small plates each filled with flavor and excellent plate presentation. Hummus, octopus, French fries, onion rings, falafel, meatballs, and Lebanese rice pudding were enjoyed by our party of 4. The restaurant brilliantly has large glass windows at the front of the room to display the ambience and hustle and bustle to people walking by. This only makes people eager to try the inviting restaurant. The room is not huge but more intimate with proper lighting and good ambience. A reservation is a must, at least on Saturday. The servers and hostess were all lovely but perhaps slightly overwhelmed. At only two weeks in this is to be expected and certainly forgiven. Time will fix this. I’ve already spread the word to friends in the area about this wonderful new hot spot. I’ll definitely be back repeatedly since I live around the corner.

    Excellent service and great selection of small plates and entrees, nice wine and cocktail list, lively but still able to converse, would definitely recommend.
