    Overall very good. Pleasant place. Excellent food. Service suffered slightly due to a sudden influx of diners that filled the pub. Despite this the staff were very cheerful throughout.

    We really like the Bathurst Arms and it wasn’t our first visit. The food was very nice overall however, the crushed potatoes on the mushroom pie were literally just broken new potatoes and the turkey Christmas dinner was missing the usual items such as pigs in blankets. Overall good meal out

    The food was tasty, although it was only lukewarm when it arrived. The first drinks order only reached the table after the food had arrived. We'd ordered the "festive menu" which the website says comes with shared vegetables for the table, but weren't served. When asked, the server said this was an "optional extra" but there isn't an option to order this on the website. The restaurant had the temerity to automatically include a 10% tip on the bill, which isn't mentioned on their website.

    Quality of food and staff excellent, good selection of wines. The only downside for us was that we felt a little bit cramped for space. Other than that a great night out. Thank you

    I hoped to be visiting a centre of rural gastronomy for Sunday lunch near Cirencester. I was sadly disappointed. My simple order arrive incorrectly served but eventually right but nothing special. The beer was very nice and seemed to be kept well. I wanted a 2nd drink but when the server arrived at my table was talking to someone else on another table so I didn’t get chance to order it then. The location is in a beautiful setting and is possibly a great place for a drink mid-week, nothing more than bar snacks for me though.
