It's difficult to say what is most appealing about the Barking Frog - the food, the wine, the atmosphere. All of the above earned this casual bistro featuring country fresh Northwest cuisine rave reviews. Honors have included "Restaurant of the Year", "Most Innovative Wine List" and "Wine Grand Award" awards, presented by the Washington Wine Commission. Delectable dishes entice guests to linger in the light-filled dining room or to gather around the fireplace. While in the summer, lunch and dinner are served in the courtyard.

Visit our sister restaurant, Fireside Lounge, take a more relaxed approach to you day with friends and fellow guests. Serving seasonal cocktails and casual bites. Daily happy hour from 3-5:30pm. Live music during the week.

    The approachable wait staff was the best part of the experience, seconded by the surrounding gardens. There were somewhat limited choices, but I was excited about some of them being very interesting like the Lamb Ruben. I was told this was a spectacular Ruben and was pretty disappointed when the whole sandwich seemed to have a ridiculously stingy amount of meat on it. Flavors were good, however. The best part of the food was the truffle fries. I felt there was a lot more bark than bite when it came to the proportions and food, other than the enormous amount of sweet potato fries we received.

    An absolute exquisite meal. Drinks were amazing! Service was amazing! The food - words can not describe the perfection of flavors that are coming out of that kitchen. Divine.

    Food was nicely prepared and was good. Portions were on the small side and the price was on the high side, particularly for the size of the portions. And that was for Seattle restaurant week prices.

    Consistently good food and service. The lamb Reuben was very flavorful, but if I didn’t know it was lamb it tasted like a regular Reuben. Pork rillette was juicy
