Food was phenomenal. If you want wood fire pizza then you need to go here. Small spacing allows for an intimate setting but it is a little noisy. Staff were quick and responsive. A true gem in the city.

Cora, our server was lovely and attentive to what we needed that evening including having been a time limit. The food was outstanding - particularly because it was elevated vegan food - difficult to get given that Bardo would not be considered "fine dining" so that it was a perfect example of what every restaurant should be doing. We are sad to see the James street location closing but completely understand the reasons. We will join them over on Locke!

This was my second time at Bardō on James for brunch. Today we were treating my hubby to a birthday brunch. He enjoyed the food choices and flavours, and he’s pretty particular, so I was more than pleased. The service was prompt and pleasant. We’d return for sure.

Amazing! Came for my dad’s 60th! Couldn’t recommend it enough, such a fun food experience! Our waiter was awesome too! Food was amazing, every single item!

Bardo never disappoints. Great and healthy food, outstanding service and atmosphere. All that for a great price. They also offer wine from the local Ontario wineries which I think tells a lot. Highly recommended.
