BarSurMer is a seafood focused lounge with influences mainly from the Basque region, best known for Tapas, Vermouths, Gin Tônicas, Sherries, & Porron wine service.
This small intimate gem located in the Greenwood neighborhood features small plates from a wood-fired oven, and house-crafted cocktails. BarSurMer is the third Restaurant for award winning chef Eric Donnelly, founder of RockCreek Seafood & Spirits and FlintCreek Cattle Company. Come join us monthly for the Sunday Drive where our resident DJ spins an all vinyl set.

    Went for happy hour and it was decent. Beef tartare was the best dish, but we also ordered the lamb, octopus, clams, beets, & the cheesecake. All the other dishes weren’t bad but just ok.

    Best place for cocktails and mocktails in Seattle vicinity. Love the freshness and flavoring of their food as well. Staff are always exceptionally friendly and competent. I keep coming back again and again.

    We had such a wonderful time- there was a wonderful selection of non-alcoholic drinks, mine was the Fall of Pearl which was beautifully decorated and so tasty. We ordered about half the menu and loved everything we ate. Strongly recommend the beef tartare which is presented with their delicious homemade crackers, the octopus which was beautifully grilled and presented, and the burrata which was presented on beets. Our server was excellent and gave us the time and space to socialize and interact but also there when we needed assistance. Excellent experience all around.

    Fun, intimate bar. Small plates were tasty and artfully displayed. Cocktails were creative and they had a good wine selection, including Txakoli from Spain. We would be happy to return.
