Had a delightful lunch at Bar Siena in the West Loop with a coworker. The ambiance was chic yet relaxed, making it a great spot for both business and casual dining. The service was prompt and courteous, with our server ensuring we were well attended to. The menu offered a nice variety of options, and we were both impressed by the quality and presentation of the dishes. The truffle fries were a standout, and the pizza was perfectly cooked with a nice crispy crust. Bar Siena also boasts a robust drink menu. We enjoyed sampling a few of their craft cocktails, which were both creative and refreshing. Overall, it was a satisfying lunch experience. We'll definitely consider Bar Siena again for future meals or even happy hour gatherings.

Our waitress recommended the half chicken, which was good but the potatoes that came with it were bland. We got the carrots as a side, and they were not special at all. There was supposed to be a hot honey drizzle on them but maybe they forgot it…. We ate maybe two and she never asked why we didn’t like them, just took them off the table but left them on the bill. I assume that’s not her fault, maybe just restaurant policy?? It was also a birthday, which no one mentioned. Kind of sucks to go out to a nice dinner, get subpar food, and not even get a lil happy birthday ya know? On the bright side, we got the burrata appetizer which was outstanding and my dirty martini was out of this world!!!! I work in a fine dining restaurant as well, and I understand the importance of creating return customers. This place didn’t really seem to care. Probably wouldn’t come back, unless it was for drinks and apps.

The food, drinks, and service were good, but we had a 7:45 reservation and didn’t get seated until about 8:10. The place isn’t so amazing that I would come back any time soon knowing I’ll probably not actually get seated close to the reservation time.

Very warm in the restaurant and with high occupancy made experience not great. Waiter to table ratio was not well as we were only checked on once between services.

Beautiful space and incredible food. Our server remembered it was our 5th wedding anniversary and certainly helped make it special. We will be back!

Our server Heather was extraordinary We ordered from Restaurant Week Menu, four courses were featured. A little too much food hahaha but had fun trying things Meatball starter, Chop salad, Bucatini, Gnochi, were all interesting Look forward to returning to try the pizza EVERY table was ordering !
