   We loved every thing about Bar Miller. The young chefs were so much fun, the food was fantastic. The som introduced us to some sakes we didn’t know. The convivial atmosphere turns a traditional omakase bar on its head. We will be back for sure.

   What a unique experience! Each bite was better than the last, especially with an exquisite wine pairing to match. We had an amazing time here and can't wait to go back!

   Incredible meal which proved the value of committing to a concept. Bar Miller serves a “Local” omakase, prioritizing locally grown and made ingredients such as rice from New York, Miso from Connecticut, and New Jersey Bluefin tuna. Having dined at a number of Omakase restaurants at a similar price point, I can say with confidence that Bar Miller is operating on another level in terms of creativity and hospitality (with taste at or exceeding that of peer restaurants). My fiance and I had an unforgettable meal and are looking forward to trying their a la carte concept: Rosella.

   Excellent NY Omakase comparable to almost every Michelin star omakase I’ve had in Los Angeles. Chefs and servers are extremely knowledgeable about the fish and drink pairing, and are super fun to be around. Would absolutely revisit when back in New York.

   We had an incredible evening last Friday at Bar Miller. Having visited Rosella while in NYC this spring, we planned to return on our trip with friends but Rosella is a tough reservation for four as they only have a table or two inside. We instead decided to visit Bar Miller and were so glad we did. Ambience is on point with the modern space, seating for 8 (all sushi bar), and good tunes. Our host, Cooper, who splits time between Bar Miller and Rosella, was engaging and helpful. The rapport between the chef, sous, and host was apparent and made for a fun dynamic between our group and the only other two guests. Food was the quality you’d expect if you’ve been to Rosella in the past. Our menu was 14 courses which ended right before I would’ve begun asking myself if I really needed anything else. We were the last seating of the evening with our experience comfortably ending at about 2.5 hours. An earlier seating would like be a bit more limited to 2-2.25. We did not do the beverage pairing but asked for bottles of white they thought would work well. Cooper was very knowledgable on their wine program and even remembered the bottle he had served us in the spring at Rosella. We loved the bottle choices. We can’t wait to return to either Bar Miller or Rosella on our next visit to NYC.

    From the time we entered the lovely and intimate space we were treated as special guests. The food was fresh, locally or well-sourced, and absolutely delicious. The chefs and host were well informed yet warm. This was a very special meal.
