   I have been here twice. Both times the food was outstanding and the servers were friendly and helpful. It is on the louder side, so be prepared for that.

   We made a reservation for a particular time. Upon walking in the door 15 minutes early we were greeted by the hostess who was friendly and helpful. She said our table was available and we were seated. Our waiter soon came to our table and took our drink order. When I asked him if they had any rieslings he stated yes all the wines were on the back of the menu. After looking for a minute or two they had no Riesling so I asked what beers they had on tap? He said they had no beers on tap only bottled beers. After the drinks were finally served we ordered some appetizers and they served  quite quickly. The two appetizers we did get were very good. My wife ordered the veal piccata which was ok. I ordered the grilled Branzino which was nothing but a fillet of fish with some sauce. It was terrible. It was not a Branzino . However I did get the Cesar salad and it was one of the best Cesar salads I have had the dressing was very good.

   First time at Bar Italia. Food was done very well. Our wait staff was friendly and attentive. Definitely will be back and recommend for casual dining.

   They could use a little more explanation for meals. We weren’t told that bread came with each meal so we ordered some. Then we asked if they had a small side salad with the meal and were told no. Our waitress told us that the Caesar salad was big enough to split but when we asked to split one there would be an extra charge. 3 meals were very good but my brother in laws was pretty bad. The pasta came in a ball stuck together. We were compt his meal but I would have thought one of the managers would have come and asked what the problem was. We probably won’t be back.

   The Restaurant was very nice. The Service and Food was Outstanding. What I did NOT appreciate was having a Dog at the Table next to us. This dog was NOT an emotional support pet. When did it become ok to bring your pet to a restaurant?? Why do people feel entitled to bring a pet to a restaurant?? I know that there are restaurants that cater to pets but I did not expect Bar Italia to be one of them. I will likely NOT return to this restaurant which is too bad. I really liked the place.

   We were greeted immediately and warmly as if we were actually welcome. Bryce was our server. We could tell he is learning but he did a very good job! We LOVE the decor and ambiance. Very inviting. Great bar - nicer than most in the area. We were there for lunch and the food was really good - best bolognese around here and there were no leftovers of the mushroom pizza! We sat inside but can’t wait to go back and give the patio a visit - cozy and inviting…

   A fun place! Good food at a reasonable price! Big restaurant , big bar and great service. I had a pizza and my husband had lasagna and we started with fried zucchini. We will definitely go back- a great addition to Lakewood ranch.

    We visited on a Wednesday for $8 martini. We ordered items that we had ordered previously, burrata salad, fig and pig pizza and the bread but this time with whipped ricotta. Everything was delicious and we have leftovers. The martini was spot on as well. We asked to be seated in the rear as it is a much quieter area which made for a vey pleasant dinner. Our server Marissa was delightful. We will be back!
