I walked in and they turned me away for a table of two at 5:50pm. They said I needed a reservation and there was no ability to wait. I proceeded to walk outside check their tables on Open Table and got a table for two at 6pm. Only problem was that I needed to pay $25 a person in Open Table in order to “make the reservation”. Once I forked over the $50 in Open Table for the “reservation” we walked in and they took us right up and we were able to sit and eat. I don’t understand why the whole situation was so shady in the first place, why force me to pay to get in when there was a seat available for two within ten minutes of me arriving the first time?

Came as a party of five for birthday meal before a concert. Food all came out at different point, 3 dishes first then to receive the remainder we waited close to 20 mins. Server came back after and asked how “the first round was.” Didnt realize different people at the same table were eating in rounds. Main food was ok. Server was barely around. Ordered churro donuts for the kids as a small birthday treat. We’re wildly undercooked and just raw dough. Told server, waited another 15 mins and received another plate with literally the same undercooked churros…again. Server ended up removing them from the bill as they were inedible. Might consider coming back for a beer before a game but wouldn’t eat here again.

Simple process to make reservation online prior to going to concert event at Garden, proximity makes it an excellent option, food and service very good.

The bees knees cocktail was undrinkable and we were seated in a section that does not have a view of the big screen which was the reason we chose to make a reservation here.

Do not reserve a place through Open Table. It cost $50 just for a reservation. I thought that was taken off the bill, but it was not. Rip off.

This was my first time dining at Banners. We were going to the Bruins game after so the atmosphere was perfect as it’s a huge sports restaurant/bar right next to the Garden. There are gigantic tv screens playing all types of sporting events. We had chips and guacamole and hot soft pretzels to start. They were both tasty. I loved that the pretzels came out hot and served with both cheese fondue and mustard. I had the falafel pita with Parmesan cheese fries. The falafel was so light and tasted great on the naan bread. The fries were delicious! Everybody’s meals were great! Someone had the pulled pork sandwich and said it was the best she’s had. Another person had a hamburger and really enjoyed it! We will definitely come back to Banners especially before a Bruins game!

Menu was not great, our appetizer was terrible. Great environment for a Celtics game. Limited beer options which is frustrating, other bars have a great selection
