   Food was overpriced for the quality. Had the 6 pc nigiri that was actually pretty decent. The wagyu gyoza and and pork potstickers was good. The tiger prawn robata was very salty and not good. The pork belly for $30 was just so so. The shrimp tempura roll was okay but very small. The baked snow crab roll was very salty and just 4 big pieces with nothing but crab and rice, nothing else to break up the flavor. The king crab with crab miso sauce was fishy and gross. $400 for 3 of us. No alcohol. Service was good.

   Given the reviews, we were expecting a lovely experience… However, starting with the hostess trying to seat us (and every party after us) at a bad table, we moved to a comfy corner but were subjected to the loud rattle of 20 year olds. The food did not hold up. The eponymous “Azabu” had stringy awful ‘toro’ under miserly amount of uni. The ‘spicy’ tuna app wasn’t …. They took it back but the replacement wasn’t much better. Overall, a big disappointment

   Not just the worst sushi, but worst food with a whooping 200$ tab, it was infuriating.

   The drinks are amazing, easily better than many cocktail bars out there. Foods are incredible too but the only downside would be the portion for some people.

   The service was attentive and well informed on the menu. I was dining with my children which enjoyed the variety and care into the dishes. Overall it was an enjoyable experience. The one area I’d provide constructive feedback is to explore the wagyu ribeye quality control. We had two at the table and they were both tough/chewy in relation to the expectations. It would also be helpful to understand origin on the menu, as I’ll assume this was domestic based on the items noted above. The wagyu hanger steak was top notch and above expectations as were the other dishes. I was especially pleased with how the service treated my teenage kids, helping them through the menu and presentation.
