   Excellent food quality and presentation albeit very overpriced, even charging for rolls. Service was quick and attentive but server seemed detached and even bored. Interior Design was very attractive but very noisy. Overall experience was good but not sure if we would ever go back.

   We've been eating at Aurum for several years. Last night was our worst experience. I still like the ambiance. Our server was good, but quite busy. Cauliflower appetizer was very delicious! We received our salad missing some ingredients - when we told the server she reported the kitchen said "the mix doesn't have much kale" which led me to believe they are using bagged salad. Doesn't explain why there was absolutely no quinoa. The steak on the surf and turf was awful. no seasoning. Bland. For a restaurant of this quality and price a steak should be seasoned. The server did remove the charge from our bill - we appreciated that. Overall I would recommend going for drinks and appetizers. Skip the entrees.

   Stewart who is the person at the host stand was very rude. He was not accommodating at all. When my friend asked if we could be seated close to each other because she was celebrating her birthday, he denied our request. Additionally, he told my friend that she was intoxicated, which she was not, and that he understood that she was loud because she was Hispanic. She was not being loud and saying g that she was Hispanic was an assumption on his part. Stewart ruined the whole night.

   Terrible experience. The manager on staff Stuart was extremely rude. Above anything I have ever experienced in my life. He accused me of being rude to my waitress. However what really shocked me was the racial comments he made against Hispanics. Claiming he was Hispanic himself. For the record my waitress hugged me and said he was wrong and that I was great. Also wished me a happy birthday. I was hoping I could celebrate a nice night however this man completely changed that. I will never forget how I was made to feel last night. I will never go back. And I really hope that man gets fired and put in his place. Terrible experience.

   Out of 6 dishes in the tasting menu, we only liked one. This place is overpriced for the quality of their food. The attitude of hosts and servers was also not very nice. Would not recommend anyone to visit this place

    The food and service were fabulous. I wouldn't have minded the high prices if the ambience matched it. It has a loud, diner feel. I also didn't appreciate the added 3% for the kitchen. Pay your staff accordingly, don't add it as a junk fee.

We would love for you to come in on a more relaxed evening to see what we can really do! As for the kitchen appreciation fee it is something that we are working on to be able to offer our staff some incentives that many restaurants are not able to offer.
