   Great food, good ambiance, lovely staff. Service a tad bit slow. Took a while to bring us dessert menus and check. Prices also on the high side. Otherwise, loverly restaurant. Will return.

   Didn’t get advertised that there would only be one set menu and you had to pay £60 for 4 courses when you didn’t even want all the food and couldn’t share so would had to pay full price even if you didn’t want any of it!!!

   Service was really good, waiters were attentive and always around for you to ask for anything, didn’t feel rushed, food was lovely only small issue as I am 8 months pregnant I did make them aware of this soon as we sat down, one of the courses had alcohol in but didn't state this on the menu, luckily only had the smallest bite, they were very quick to apologise and a replacement came back out quickly.

   Absolutely amazing from start to finish, each course was tasty and the service was outstanding. Will definitely come back!

   Food was really good. The Ambiance was a little chilled. The decor was amazing. The music was fantastic and the service was good , pricey alcohol. I will return !

   Booked for a birthday Sunday lunch. Due to a recent hip operation, I asked via app if I could have a cushion to raise the seat. When we were shown to our table, cushion was waiting for me. Food and service were excellent. This was my second time visiting, will definitely be going back.

   Located in the Coal Exchange, this restaurant opened in October 2024 in the space formerly occupied by the Culley restaurant. The interior combines exposed brickwork, wood paneling, and art deco lighting, with a bar at one end and a large dining area featuring banquette-style seating in the middle. Food: The starters were a mixed bag. The spicy crispy prawns were heavily over-battered, with five pieces that ended up having to remove their coating as it was too thick. The accompanying tiny portion of salad at the bottom of the dish of carrot and greens was the saving grace, adding some freshness to the dish. The cocktail “Full Moon” (bourbon, sake, lychee, wild strawberry, calamari, and mochi) was a disappointment—it tasted unpleasantly like bath wash and had to be sent back. Fortunately, the “Ford” cocktail was much better and came as a welcome replacement. The roasted picanha beef roast was a hit-and-miss. While the swede purée was sweet and delicious, and the peas and mangetout added a nice touch, the meat itself was chewy, with only two thin slices served. The sauce was thick and flavorful, and the rotkohl (red cabbage) was good but overly sweet. Unfortunately, the wrong knife was provided, making cutting through the meat a struggle. Atmosphere and Service: Live music at 1 pm created a relaxed vibe, with popular classics adding to the ambiance. The service was attentive and friendly, though the automatic 12% service charge on the bill may not be to everyone’s liking. Overall, this is a stylish venue with potential, but the food quality needs to be more consistent to match the promising atmosphere and good service.

   Outstanding service, and the food was delicious. We had vegan (risottos) and meat options (poussin) within our group, and both were cooked and seasoned perfectly. The choice of drinks on the menu were good, but they were also able to make off menu cocktails. We had the best evening and they made me feel very special with a free desert when one of our guests mentioned we were celebrating my birthday. The whole experience felt very high-end but also, warm and welcoming. We will absolutely be back, thank you Aura for such a wonderful evening.

    Great lamb and rump steak with top class veg! King prawn starter also excellent. A very good meal with friendly and knowledgeable service.
