   This was one of the best dining experiences I have ever had. My wife and I spent her 70th birthday at this restaurant and we were not at all disappointed. We had to change our reservation here very short notice, and the restaurant was very helpful on getting us a new one. We will be coming back. Also, I highly recommend the pork chops. They are the best ones we have ever had. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

   It was amazing! Food was sooo mouthwatering and our servers were knowledgeable and sweet. There was a lot of help from other waitstaff to refill drinks and clear tables. It was top notch!

   This restaurant provides the consummate, down-south premium dining experience. Sufficiently cosmopolitan in it’s French/Scottish-inspired menu and adequately gastronomic in it’s approach to preparing and presenting dishes, it nonetheless adds southern warmth and portion sizes to the medley of factors that make the restaurant worthwhile. For our dinner, we got the dry-aged ribeye that they’re famous for, two cocktails, and one starters. The bartenders here do not have a light hand wrt alcohol content, but the cocktails are still delicious. The starter we shared was the quail. Extremely succulent and delicious. The dry-aged ribeye was worth the two-hour trip from Atlanta alone. An adventure in-and-of itself, it is an experience beyond the normal steak-eating experience. Perfectly concentrated flavor, with just enough salt and fat to elevate every bite, cooked to perfect medium tenderness. It’s also paired with a delightful sauce. Spoil yourself! The staff was also great, and the ambiance very good. The only detraction is that it is not a low-priced experience, but the indulgence is worth it!

    We spent our 37th anniversary here. It was pretty quite nice ambience. Interesting menu. my only issue was the fish of the day was touted as trout. I ordered it only to receive salmon. i’m not sure if the waiter was confused or the kitchen sent out the wrong thing. The wine by the glass is very pricey. My husbands popettes were very good and filling. the pumpkin cake was superb. We will return.

    Hi Laura and thank you for taking the time to share your review! I’m sorry there seems to be confusion regarding the Market Fish. The fish you were served that evening was in fact Steelhead Trout. Though we love a good salmon filet, we do not serve it in Auld Alliance currently. Steelhead Trout is a breed of trout that migrates to the ocean as opposed to remaining in freshwater, and it certainly does create a much different flavor from the trout that you may be more accustomed. We will certainly coach our crew on sharing more regarding the tasting notes of the dish. I am thrilled to know that everything else was excellent and the pumpkin cake is one of our favorites too! Please come back soon and we will earn that 5th star!
