Atria's History The original Atria's in Mt. Lebanon was owned by Italian immigrant Joe Atria and dates to 1930. It began as a grocery store, then expanded into a barbershop and dry cleaners. In 1933 prohibition ended and Atria's began to sell beer. Along came food to feed the hungry - both highbrow attorneys and blue-collar working men alike. In 1998, Pittsburgh natives Pat and Nancy McDonnell transformed Joe Atria's historical Mt. Lebanon landmark into an upscale casual restaurant that today serves up American classics in neighborhoods all around the Greater Pittsburgh Area

    This was our first negative experience with Atria’s. We had a 6:15 reservation. It took an hour and 20 minutes for our food. I also ordered a second glass of wine after 20 minutes it was delivered in a champagne flute because they were out of wine glasses. It was not near a 6oz pour. The food was also just ok. It was room temp. The server had so many tables and also had to make our club sandwich. The valet was great! He was so fast and friendly!

    Enjoyed dinner at the Mt lebanon location. We ordered braised beef and chicken marsala and both were delicious. The server was great and very attentive to our needs. We will be back!

    I ordered the chicken with lemon and linguine. The chicken was so tough, I could barely cut it. The pasta and sauce were just warm…not hot. I sent it back and got a chopped salad. The waitress was great, but I won’t be ordering that again..

    Service is always too slow, both for drinks and food, but the servers are nice, the food is good and the atmosphere is so comfortable. Atrias please don’t make the fatal mistake of changing the original Atrias!

    My wife and I both had the Reuben sandwich. Although, my wife changed her's to a Rachael (turkey instead of corned beef). Both sandwiches were tasty and hot when served. My wife had a side of purple cabbage and I had spaetzel (both part of Octoberfest). Both of the sides were good. We took home a delicious, huge piece of carrot cake which I received free for my birthday. We enjoyed it immensely later that evening at home. Our waitress, Mkenna was very effecient and courteous. We never had to wait on her to serve us.
