   If you're looking for a beautiful dining experience in Westchester...Apropos is the place to go! I had had a very difficult day that ended in a beautiful way: with a late, solo birthday dinner at Apropos. The ambiance is lovely, warm an inviting. The food was quite perfect! I had the Branzino and the crème brûlée. Both were ideal and I am rather picky. The broth for the Branzino was remarkably seasoned with subtle layers and an unctuous feel that ideally paired with the fish. The crème brûlée was unconscionably delicious...that I did not finish it all could be seen as an act of restraint...but...mostly I was just too full! And as wonderful as the food was, it's really the staff that made my night! Kind, warm, attentive without being overwhelming... What more could I have asked for? I can hardly wait to go back!

   I would highly recommend the tuna appetizer. By far the best item on the menu. The crispy rice cake accompanying the tuna was a perfect pairing. It was slightly oily with the consistency of a potato chip, but added needed crunchiness to the dish. The pork chop was delicious. The sauce was sweet and tangy, not spicy at all to my taste. However, be aware that it is cooked medium with pink in the middle. Same with the duck - cooked medium rare. The duck was also exceptional with no gaminess. I highly recommend both dishes. The chocolate dome was a bit of a disappointment. Although the chocolate was rich and delicious, the entire dessert was rock hard with the sections separating from each other. You really need a knife to eat it. I would definitely return to the restaurant but would order a different dessert.

   Food was very good. There was a problem in Happy Hour drink information as to what's included and what's not. Apparently Riesling is not part of the Happy Hour Wine list - even though it was at our last visit several weeks ago. Same vintage Trimbach wine. None of this is, of course, communicated to the patron ahead of ordering. This snafu impacted this visit. Our previous visit was outstanding.

   The decor, scenery, service and meal were perfect. Servers were very attentive and friendly. The food was plated perfectly. Everything was fresh. My second time at the restaurant. Will definitely return as I can and will recommend to family and friends.

   Nice meal, okay atmosphere. Appetizers were delicious - warm shrimp salad and scallop - yum! Entrees were also great - delicious duck and branzino in a delectable broth. Wine was delicious - though bartender seemed overwhelmed. Our server was attentive, but not intrusive.

   I expected more from the restaurant based on reviews and Michelin recommendation. Service was not great and food was ok. We had Thanksgiving prefix dinner that was nice. The breakfast next morning was ok the sausage was inedible. Whilst servers were super friendly and accommodating it wasn’t Michelin level. Overall I would give it another go.

   The setting is superb, hostess was very pleasant & wait staff was great. We were a party of 4 so we all had a different signature cocktail, they were all delicious!!! The food was extremely tasty but two poached egg dishes came to the table lukewarm. The other two entrees were warmer but not hot. The food in general was extremely tasty. A wonderful Sunday Brunch!

    Our first time to this restaurant with two birthdays. The ambiance looking at the Hudson River was beautiful! The service was impeccable! Each dish was made to perfection! We can’t wait to return!
