    Very attentive and friendly service. The food were very well prepared and seasoned. The Rock with Waygu was phenomenal. The only complaint is that I can taste the corn starch that was applied to the scallops which leaves a bad aftertaste.

    Gorgeous dining room wonderful menu. Great bar, drinks and wine. Most of all, the restaurant space is fantastic, especially as most hotels turn their dining rooms into unappealing bars!

    Group of 8 for brunch and it really exceeded expectations. Some did the buffet and some ordered a la carte. Everyone really enjoyed it and service was awesome.

    By far the worst experience for Valentine’s Day. My boyfriend and I made reservations and arrived on time. It took the sushi chef to ask do we need anything because that’s how bad the waitstaff ignored us. The drinks were horrible, we asked for a spicy margarita and got a regular one. We both ordered the steak and only one was brought out and we had to remind them that we both were eating. The only time someone was attentive was when they asked did we want to cash out. The food had no seasoning and the chimchurri had the consistency of mushy peas rather than a chimchurri. Worst experience ever.

    Our waiter Deepak was the best! It was our anniversary and he was very attentive. Also the restaurant gave us complimentary champagne, and a dessert. We had a wonderful dinner, food was amazing.

    Spent my last dinner back again at Anzu before leaving San Francisco. Had unagi and salmon nigiri. The salmon was melt in your mouth goodness. Also had the chef's choice for sashimi

    One of many restaurants I wanted to try while here on business in San Francisco. Nice quiet restaurant located on the 2nd floor of Hotel Nikkei. Delicious food. Nice hospitality and friendly staff

    The service was excellent and very friendly. The brunch was awesome with great assortment of sushi , main dishes and desserts. The dining area was very clean and pleasant. The brunch was definitely one of the best in the Bay Area. I thought the price was very competitive and proper. The ONLY issue we had was the parking at the hotel did not include a validation. I think if you expect Bay Area customers to frequent the restaurant, I think it would go a long ways to increase potential return customers to Anzu.
