   Greeting at the restaurant was very good. Seated promptly. I had the Lobster tail. It was succulent and really great. The brussel sprouts were not very good, slightly burnt and not tasty. The rice pilaf was edible but I have had better. My wife had the roasted garlic prawns. They too were edible but she wasn’t really impressed. The starter shrimp cocktail was good. We have eaten here many times. The food was always of the highest calibre. Not sure what happened this time. Table service was satisfactory.

   I Ordered lobster tail special $29 dinner The waitress said I could haves mashed potatoes instead of rice. She brought my plate and it had rice and she said “sorry I forgot your potatoes but I will get them now.” Well now was 5 minutes + The lobster tail was small and not firm meat - seemed almost watery. Also I ordered coffee and would have liked a refill but it was not offered. Even when the waitress came by to ask about dessert there was no offer to refill my empty cup. She brought the dessert and even though my coffee cup was now near the edge of the table she still did not offer a refill This was a disappointing experience. I’ve been to Anthony’s for many years regularly for happy hour and family occasions have never had a bad experience so this was surprising to me

   On Sunday, November 10th, I took my best friend Helen to Anthony's Squalicum Harbor for her birthday and brunch. It was excellent in every aspect. We were early so it was quiet. The service was outstanding as usual and expected. The food was cooked perfectly to our liking. What pleased me the most was everyone from the hostess to the server wished her a happy birthday. We will be back!

   My wife and I enjoyed an early dinner special at Anthony's. We were immediately seated, and our order was taken promptly. The wait staff was great, and they took excellent care of us. Our food was excellent. The salad was nice and crisp, the sole was great, and our burnt cream dessert was wonderful. My only complaint was that the green bean side was not cooked well enough for me.

   Wow! We have not been to Anthony's since before the Covid onslaught, and even if the prices have increased since then the quality of food and service has remained the same, perhaps even improving! Our server David was the epitome of delight -- he was attentive to our needs, respectful of the differing speeds between my wife and me (she always finishes a course before I do), and seemed to be enjoying immensely what he was doing. The caesar salad was about the best I have ever had -- the light dressing and parmesan cheese were in excellent balance. The prawns were cooked perfectly, retaining the firmness that made them a pleasure to eat. Likewise, the accompanying pilaf, green beans, and roasted corn set off the prawns superbly. And what can be said about the burnt cream? What a way to finish the meal!

   Oiled used to fry fish and chips was quite old, resulting in very dark fried fish. Fries were over salted. Clam chowder was tasty but not hot at all. Mahi Mahi tacos were soggy.

    Outstanding service and the food was delicious! I had the Alaska Weathervane Scallops and my husband had the Seafood Fettuccine. The scallops are plated with green beans and mini corn kernels (so delectable) and Almond Rice Pilaf. We each had a dessert which was fabulous as well. Server was friendly and helpful. Will definitely return.
