Anther Distillery - The Geelong Distillery. We're makers of Australia’s Champion Gin and IWSC winners, stands as the cocktail gateway to Greater Geelong and the Great Ocean Road. Anther Distillery is located under the famous chimney in the historic Federal Mills complex; just 60mins from Melbourne CBD and 10mins from North Geelong Station.

Anther Distillery offers the unique experience of a real working gin distillery combining with a full service bar, run by distillers and master mixologists alike.

A generous tourism offering, Anther Distillery gives the spirit lover or the adventurous at heart the opportunity to discover the flavours of Australia’s craft gin industry. Anther Distillery provides bookable distillery tours with the Anther team which include cocktail on arrival, guided Anther Gin tasting and sensory tours of native botanicals.

    Let one of incredible Anther team members take you on a journey through a range of cocktails, giving your tastebuds a glimpse into the variety of cocktails out there. Our cocktail tasting flight includes tasters of four craft-curated cocktails: the Anther Fine Lady, Aus Negroni, Anther Avalon and a Cherry Berry Spritz. All cocktail tasting flights are served as miniature versions of regular serve cocktails, complete with garnishes and presentation. Throughout the flight our Anther team member will give you a brief history of cocktails, the basic blueprint of how to create your own balanced cocktails from scratch, the tasting notes of each cocktail, and give you an insight how mixologists created each cocktail you taste.

    Let one of incredible Anther team members take you on a gin journey. Our gin tasting flight includes tasters of our Australian Dry Gin, Geelong Dry Gin, Goddess Strength Gin and Cherry Gin. All tasting flights are served with a variety botanicals used in flavouring each of our gins to prepare your palate for tasting. Each flight is also served with a selection of fresh fruit and herb garnishes, as well as your choice of tonic or soda for you to experiment and explore each of the gins. Throughout the flight our Anther team member will guide you through the this exploration, experimentation and also explain the story of each gin. *30min approx. flight run time. **Option available on the day to add on extra Anther gins on to your tasting.

    Let one of incredible Anther team members take you on an insiders tour of the Anther Geelong distillery. Our distillery tour includes a 20-30 minute private and exclusive look into our distilling area, a tasting flight of the core Anther gins and a special nip of an exclusive Anther R&D gin. Throughout the tour our Anther team member will guide you through and answer any questions you may have, showing you all the working parts we use to create, including our mini still, our big still "Arnie", our boiler and a peak into every aspect of our gin. You'll get an insiders look into the Anther process, along with out experimentation and distillation of each of our gins. *Enjoy 10% off all retail purchases following Tour+Taste experience.

    We love going to Anther, never had a bad experience. Dirt and her teams mixology knowledge is second to none! Highly recommend Anther for all gin lovers.

    Amazing place for our Hens day! The staff were lovely and asked what tunes we wanted to play, felt like we had a personal DJ. 10/10

    This is a distillery that does a gin tasting, with an explanation of each sample. ( there is no food). I have done it a few times now and enjoy the explanations of each drink and suggested fruits or mixers to enhance each taste that is always good. The staff are proud of the product , which also enhances the visit

    Always a delightful place to enjoy a gin or two, responsibly of course.... Hardest part is choosing what to try next....so many amazing gins to try

    We did the tour and it was really interesting to find out how the Gin is made. It was great fun tasting the different Gins.

    We did a gin tasting and it was great - well explained, clear visual aids with each gin and having the herbs to smell and taste gave great context. The ambiance is authentic as you are literally in the room where they make gin, and that’s actually more interesting than a finished room. The girls who helped us were amazing - friendly, helpful and knowledgeable and went out of their way to make our experience interesting. The next table was doing cocktail making, and that also looked fun, but for now the gin tasting was well worth the time and effort.

    Very friendly and enthusiastic staff. They went out of their way to make sure we had a great time and were so knowledgeable about the business and the gin making process.

    This place is fantastic, the gin is DELICIOUS!! Jackson our host was so knowledgeable, he made our experience so great. Highly recommend!
